Vacation rental Sole Del Chianti is a beautiful stone building (600 sq m) that includes private pool, air conditioning and WiFi internet. The property can accommodate up to 20 people comfortably in 11 bedrooms with ten bathrooms. Sole Del Chianti is located in Tavarnelle Val Di Pesa, Italy and only 24 km (15 mi) from Greve In Chianti in the tourist area "San Gimignano And Surroundings".
The property consists of a main building and an annex comprising two double bedrooms.
In case of reduced capacity (16 guests or fewer), the annex will remain closed and will not be usable.

The nearest village is Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, just 2 km away, also reachable on foot. There the tourist can find cafes, groceries, supermarkets, and shops for all their needs.
There are a lot of other sights nearby that are worth visiting: medieval villages, ancient castles, and monasteries from the 10-11th century. The exceptional and lovely location of The property, right in the heart of Tuscany, allows the tourist to quickly reach the most famous centers of Tuscany: Firenze, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Forte dei Marmi, Maremma Toscana.
Florence is just 35 min from the Villa and can be easily reached by car or scheduled bus service. Our staff will be happy to recommend itineraries to follow or book your Walking Tour of the city of Dante Alighieri, Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci. With three (3) days advance notice we can reserve your admission tickets to the city’s most important museums so that you can enjoy them without long waits outside.
Siena is a place of great historic and artistic interest barely 45 min from the villa Sites to see include the Cathedral and Piazza del Campo where the famous Palio horse race is run twice a year: on July 2nd (Palio di Provenzano) and August 16th (Palio dell’Assunta) ten of the city’s districts participate in the horse race to win the symbolic cloth; each district is assigned one of the ten, fit horses that are selected to compete. The assignments are made on June 29th and August 13th for the July and August Palio, respectively. This ritual is known as the Tratta and it marks the beginning of 4 days of festivities.
To reach Siena, take the Firenze-Siena Superstrada, towards Siena, and exit at Siena Nord.
A 35 min drive will take you to San Gimignano, a farming town in the province of Siena famous for its medieval towers and the Vernaccia wine. Vernaccia di San Gimignano is one of the finest white wines anywhere and is only made in a small area of Tuscany between Siena, Pisa and Florence. It is known worldwide and was the first Italian wine to obtain DOC (Denominazione di Origine Controllata – Certified Controlled Origin) designation in 1966. The famous Torture Museum is located within the city's medieval walls. Visit also the Torture Museum within medieval city walls.
Pisa (70 min) certainly needs no introduction. The Leaning Tower, built of pure white marble between the twelfth and fourteenth centuries is certainly one of the world’s most famous monuments that must be seen. The tower is located next to the Cathedral in Piazza dei Miracoli.

Tavarnelle VAl di Pesa has a public transport service with daily direct connections to the main cities of the Chianti area (Florence, Siena, ...). Buses runs regulary day and night.

Price Match
Overall very good. Lovely villa. On site service was very helpful but we encountered several issues of miscommunication over arrangements that had previously been confirmed by email. Also I consider a final cleaning bill of several hundred euros to be unacceptable - 1) far too high for a mornings cleaning, and 2) should be included in the price. That definitely leaves a bad taste at the end of a very pleasant stay.
