This beautiful property belongs to the Campalli estate, a huge farm of 750 acres that produces Chianti Classico wine, and includes the Castle of Campalli.The 360° view from each point on the estate ranges over endless rolling hills, vineyards and olive groves. On a clear day it is possible to see the towers of San Gimignano in the distance. La Corte di Campalli is an impressive stone-built farmhouse that dates back to the 16th century. It takes its name from the striking internal courtyard around which it was built. The property was recently restored by its discerning owners, who used authentic traditional materials of the area and equipped it with all modern facilities. The interiors are particularly airy and spacious, with doors both to the courtyard and to the garden. Guided tours of the estate and the castle, including Tuscan wine tasting, can also be arranged. Past clients particularly appreciated the visit of the wine cellars guided by the very helpful owners, and the experience is even more enjoyable in September, a beautiful month for visiting this part of Tuscany, when the guests can assist and participate to the wine harvest. Although in a secluded and quiet location, it is only 7 km away from a highway exit and therefore is also an ideal base for trips to the Chianti area and main Tuscan towns such as Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni.

This beautiful farmhouse is located in a very quiet and secluded position on the Castello di Volpaia estate, where we have successfully been renting two other properties, La Pozza and Il Casetto for many years. The owners of the estate, with long experience in providing guest accommodations, completed restoration of this stone-built farmhouse in 2005. Their aim was to make it the ideal residence for those seeking a totally relaxing holiday in Chianti, so they have provided full-time staff to take care of the house and to prepare meals for guests. The interior of Casavecchia Volpaia has been restored with full respect for the typical Tuscan traditions, and each bedroom has been equipped with an en-suite bathroom Guests can enjoy incredible views from the covered terrace, which is furnished for outdoor eating and is also very practical for families as it overlooks the pool, allowing parents to relax while keeping an eye on the pool area. The fortified hamlet of Volpaia offers two nice restaurants, one of which owned by the estate. The English speaking estate staff can organize cooking lessons, visits to the wine cellars and will be glad to assist guests during their stay.
The property can also be rented with a cooking service (breakfast and another meal) at extra cost. It is also possible to rent it for 12 people with extra accommodation in an adjacent dependance.

This exquisitely restored farmhouse is situated in one of the most beautiful positions, right in the heart of Chianti Classico. From its secluded position the views are absolutely stunning, with all the windows framing a picture of the lovely Chianti countryside at its best. The spacious interiors have been restored to a very high standard, in an authentic Tuscan style and tastefully furnished with ethnic furnishings and antiques. The living areas all open via french windows onto the garden on one side and an internal patio on the other, making the rooms very light and airy. In the patio there is a lovely vine-covered pergola with marble table, ideal for “al fresco” dining. To the front of the house, the furnished terraces provide the perfect spot for enjoying the magnificent views. On this side, there is a pathway leading to the beautiful swimming pool with overflow effect, in a particularly panoramic position. The pool has a large shallow end for children. To the rear of the property, is a converted barn where the housekeeper lives. Resident cat at the property. There is a 1 km unmade driveway leading to Camporempoli. It was partially cemented at the end of 2013 in order to make it more easily accessible.
