La Puzzola is a smaller villa located in the small village of Solata. The town of Bucine is close as well, and Arezzo is only 35 kilometers away.

Who doesn’t love to shop for a bargain when they’re on holidays? Well, if you’re in the Tuscany region of Italy on your trip away then you’ve hit the jackpot! Visit three of the top designer factory outlets in the Tuscany region to indulge your retail appetite! There is an excellent array of holiday villas in the area surrounding these factory outlets as well as apartments in Tuscan cities like Florence and Arezzo where the visitor can relax and drop their bags in after a long but joyous day of bargain shopping!

The first factory outlet that produces and distributes Fendi designer products is located right beside one of Tuscany’s best shopping centres called ‘The Mall’. It’s less than thirty minutes by bus or rail from the Santa Maria Novella train station in Florence city. It sells mainly previous season collections with discounts of up to 50%! It’s open from 10-7.30 pm daily and would be a wonderful few hours spent browsing around for the shopping enthusiast.

The Dolce&Gabanna factory outlet is also conveniently located close to ‘The Mall’ shopping centre. It’s less than four kilometres in a taxi and is open from Monday to Sunday from 10-7.30pm. The famous Italian designers sell a beautiful selection of their clothing, underwear and accessory range from recent season with heavily marked down price tags. That’s music to the ears for many shopaholic visitors who pass through their doors!

• Pork sirloin 1,5 kg with bone (3.3 lbs)


• 4 Garlic Cloves


• 2 sprigs Rosemary


• Sage


• 2 Bay Leaves


• Marjoram


• Tarragon


• Mint


• Olive Oil


• Salt and Pepper

A crisp and sweet accent to any after dinner liquor, or ideally a glass of Vin Santo. A very typical dessert in many Tuscan homes.

• Plain White Flour 500gr (18 ounces)


• Granulated Sugar 500gr (18 ounces)


• Almonds 180gr (6.5 ounces)


• 3 Eggs


• Baking Powder, 4 tsps


• Dash of Salt
