Podere Capanne is a portion of an old farmhouse set in the hills overlooking the charming medieval village of Rigomagno and much of the wide Chiana Valley. You will find the house in a landscape covered mostly by olive trees, interrupted here and there by small vineyards and lush oak woods. Ancient farmhouses, always in privileged positions, emerge from the vegetation, completing a natural landscape of rare beauty. A delight for your eyes, an enchanting place for your holidays.
You will find the house on the edge of a large olive grove of about 3 hectares, tended like a meadow that, from the top of the hill, with a harmonious succession of natural terraces, slowly slopes down towards a wooded gully.
A few steps from the house and immersed among the olive trees is the completely fenced swimming pool for your exclusive use (size 5x10 m - depth 1.10-1.50 m - open from 01st May to 30th September), a green oasis for your summer days. In front of the house you will have a large fenced-in courtyard equipped with a table and chairs on the nice porch, where you can enjoy grills and good local wine. Check-in begins at 3:00 PM on Saturday by appointment, and check-out is required by 9:00 AM. You must provide arrival details at least 2 weeks prior to your arrival date. Upon arrival at the property, you are required to pay a security deposit in cash to the property representative in the amount of 800 euro, which will be returned prior to departure, net of any accidental damage to the property. All guests must provide a photocopy of their passport and sign a form for the local authorities upon arrival. The property is within walking distance from the city center. Heating in Italy is allowed by law from November 1 to April 1, with some exceptions for extreme weather conditions. Please note that fans are not usable. Kitchen services, if desired, must be arranged at least 2 months before arrival. An arrival fee applies if you arrive outside the indicated hours. Occasionally you may hear some noise coming from the underlying spa. Animals are not allowed on the property. Baby beds and child chairs are available with an extra cost.
