Villa Cerretalta is in a wonderful position on a small hill surrounded by Brunello vineyards, within the national park of Val D'Orcia. The 7 bedroom, 6 bath property is set between the cities of Montalcino and San Quirico D'Orcia (both are about 10 km away), yet in few minutes you can reach the little town of Torrenieri (5 km) where you can find the nearest shops, supermarket and restaurants.
The owner occasionally uses the independent building nearby and whilst respecting your privacy will be at your disposal if you should need any help.
Cerretalta is completely surrounded by hedges and fences to guarantee total privacy. Nonetheless, you have a wonderful sight over the countryside.
Once you enter the gateway, there is a large courtyard plenty of tables and chairs at guests’ disposal as well as the brick barbeque. Across the court there is a lovely area with a big round stone table and matching benches sheltered from the sun by a pergola. Here there is also a second way out from the property, down a stone staircase and through a small iron gate.
There are two garden areas.
The first one is bordered by mature trees, should the guests enjoy a peaceful shady lawn, and it is situated next to a white travertine floored space with tables, chairs and parasol. This is the perfect location where you can have your meals, while taking in the beautiful view over the surrounding farmland.
From here, few stone steps lead to the second garden that is located near the poolside. A small gate possibly delimits the way so as to prevent little children from reaching the swimming-pool area without permission. Some fruit trees, flowers and shrubs brighten the place and there is also a gazebo with table and chairs. An extensive hedge marks the limits of the patch.

A gazebo equipped with tables and chairs is positioned directly in front of the kitchen, offering an ideal space for al fresco dining while taking in the picturesque Tuscan landscape. The residence accommodates up to 12 guests across 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, distributed thoughtfully over two levels. On the ground floor, you will find a reading and television lounge, a large kitchen seamlessly connected to a very spacious dining room, and 2 suites, each featuring a private bathroom with bathtub and an additional reading living room. An extra bathroom with laundry facilities is also located on this level. The first floor comprises 2 double bedrooms, each with a private bathroom equipped with a shower, and 2 junior suites, each also offering a private bathroom with shower. The entire villa showcases exceptional furnishings, including furniture dating from the 1800s combined with contemporary design elements. Upon request, the property can accommodate up to 17 guests for an additional cost, utilizing a double sofa bed and a single sofa bed in the ground floor suite, as well as single pouf beds in both junior suites on the first floor. A crib is also available upon request.

Other Information
Check-in begins at 3:00 PM on Saturday by appointment, and check-out is required by 9:00 AM. You must provide arrival details at least 2 weeks prior to your arrival date. Upon arrival at the property, you are required to pay a security deposit in cash to the property representative in the amount of 800 euro, which will be returned prior to departure, net of any accidental damage to the property. All guests must provide a photocopy of their passport and sign a form for the local authorities upon arrival. The property is within walking distance from the city center. Heating in Italy is allowed by law from November 1 to April 1, with some exceptions for extreme weather conditions. Please note that fans are not usable. Kitchen services, if desired, must be arranged at least 2 months before arrival. An arrival fee applies if you arrive outside the indicated hours. Occasionally you may hear some noise coming from the underlying spa. Animals are not allowed on the property. Baby beds and child chairs are available with an extra cost.
