This property is situated in the heart of the Orcia Valley, a short distance away from the town of Montalcino, renowned worldwide for the production of the famous Brunello wine. This house is part of a farming estate with beautiful vineyards producing an excellent wine (the property owners are glad to show their guests their wine cellars).
The location is ideal to visit all of charming the surrounding villages and towns such as Pienza, San Quirico, Bagno Vignoni and Montalcino.
A road (Via Cassia) passes nearby, approx. 600 meters from the house away.
The access to the property is via an unpaved but well-maintained road.

Conceived and organised by the Municipality of San Quirico d'Orcia, the fair takes place in the beautiful eighteenth century rooms of the Palazzo Chigi and involves technical tasting sessions, food and wine tastings, specialist talks and the organising of visits to the wineries in which the excellent local wines that are showcased over the course of the festival are actually produced.
