Property Description

You will find La Contea in the heart of Valdichiana, where the provinces of Arezzo and Siena meet. The villa is immersed in the hills of the Tuscan countryside, framed by places rich in history such as Etruscan Cortona and the ancient medieval villages of Lucignano, Foiano della Chiana and Sinalunga.
La Contea is a large farmhouse of peasant origins divided into three cosy independent apartments, and therefore suitable to accommodate groups, even families, of up to 12 people. The furnishings are simple but you really do have everything, starting with the ample space available to accommodate large groups.
The villages of Lucignano and Sinalunga with shops, restaurants and services of all kinds are about 3 km away. Both are small villages with characteristic historic centres which we recommend you to visit. You will immediately fall in love with their palaces, churches and stone alleyways, and it will be very pleasant to spend your evenings out to dinner or for an ice cream.
In little more than 30 minutes by car you can easily reach Siena, Arezzo or Perugia, so the villa is an ideal starting point to easily visit Tuscany, Umbria and all the most beautiful places in Central Italy.
Around the farmhouse you will find a large green area shaded by olive trees, pines, cypresses and oaks and where you will find, for your exclusive use, a beautiful large swimming pool (size m. 7x14, depth m. 0.50-2.60 - open from 01st May to 19 September) where you will spend your hot summer days.
One of the villa’s highlights is for sure the tennis court, which is also private and perfect if you love tennis but at the same time wish to combine your favourite sport with a holiday in Tuscany.
For your outdoor dinners, there is a gazebo equipped with barbecue and garden furniture and a large porch overlooked by the kitchen on the ground floor.

Interior Description

Ground Floor: large portico equipped with table and chairs, sitting-dining room, kitchen, double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower.
First Floor: with entrance via external staircase with small panoramic loggia we find two apartments; one made up of sitting-dining room with kitchenette, double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower. The other made up of sitting-dining room with kitchenette, double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower.
In the annex close by the pool there are a bathroom with shower and a laundry room.

La Contea heeft onze verwachtingen overtroffen. Groot huis met 3 appartementen waar wij en onze twee kinderen met hun gezin een week in volledige privicay een geweldige vakantie hebben gehad. Een eigen zwembad, groot grasveld. De eigenaar en de beheerder waren goed bereikbaar. De appartementen zijn misschien wat gedateerd, maar het rustieke hiervan past bij de Toscaanse omgeving. Een aanrader voor 3 stellen/gezinnen die samen met elkaar op vakantie willen, en toch in het eigen appartement een eigen plek willen hebben.

Large house with 3 apartments where we and our two children and their families had a great holiday for a week in complete privacy. A private swimming pool, large lawn. The owner and caretaker were easily reachable. The apartments may be a bit dated, but their rusticity suits the Tuscan environment. Highly recommended for 3 couples/families who want to go on holiday together, and still want to have their own place in their own apartment.

Sehr schönes Anwesen, großes Haus mit drei getrennten Wohnungen und ein riesiger Pool. Poolreinigung täglich, sehr nette Betreuer des Anwesens. Im Haus ist alles notwendige vorhanden, praktisch wäre ein Wasserkocher und eine Mikrowelle, aber das ist Jammern auf höchstem Niveau. Alles in allem ein Haus, das wir gerne weiterempfehlen.

We stayed ten days in this beautiful Tuscan estate, the housing unit is divided into 3 comfortable independent apartments and it comfortably accommodates 12 people, all the rooms are spacious and furnished in a rustic, yet functional style.
Alessandro the keeper has always been available and discreet.
I recommend this estate to those looking for a holiday of peace and tranquility, but at the same time a good starting point to explore the Tuscan villages and its hills, perhaps on board a mountain bike like I did.
For those interested in renting a bike or scooter just over 1 km away in Sinalunga there is an excellent shop.

A very nice place, with lots of space, a tennis court, a pool that got cleaned every day and an extremely friendly and helpful Administrator that was around most of the time if we had any questions or problems (which wasn't the case). There are several local supermarkets that you can reach by car within 7 minutes and you are completely for yourself in a big radius - so you can also be louder if you want to. Would book this place again.

A very nice villa in a fantastic large garden - with a pool and a tennis court. The location provides a lot of privacy. Well placed - not far from the main tourist attractions of Tuscany. Comfortable apartments for three families.

The accommodation in the three apartments is spacious although basically furnished. The property is superb based on the outside facilities, great swimming pool,tennis court and space to spread out. Quietly situated but with easy access to Sinalunga
