Here we are again with another Villa Spotlight where we dig through our archives to pull our a gem of a property just for you!

This week we're off to the Arezzo Countryside to a property called Villa Ulivi & La Casina. This Villa is very difficult to describe as words could not do justice to the fantastic architecture.

It is located just on top of a small hill in the Tuscan Countryside and is just 700mt from the medieval town of Lucignano. It has recently undergone renovation and it is furnished to the classic Tuscan taste while offering every modern comfort.

Tuscany is filled with beautiful sights to see scattered throughout the memorable countryside. One of the most beautiful areas is located in the Province of Arezzo.

Lucignano is a municipality here located in between Florence and Arezzo, notable for its well-preserved medieval walls. Set on the top of a hill, it was the site of dispute between a range of Tuscan cities between 1200 and 1500, including Siena, Arezzo, Florence, and Perugia.

There are many historical sites to visit within this town, including a bevy of examples of medieval architecture which remain. The best way to appreciate these sights is by exploring on foot.

Carnival is an event celebrated all over the world that sees people let loose before going into Lent, in anticipation of Easter. These colourful, joyous and, often, wild, events are famous, particularly New Orleans' Mardi Gras, Rio's Carnival, and Venice's Carnevale. However, while Tuscany may not be as famous for this event, her iterations are many and wonderful. If you're looking for a party come next March (Shrove Tuesday is on the 5th of March in 2019), then why not find a luxury villa in Tuscany and check one or some of these local Carnevale festivals out?

This time we're taking a trip to Foiano Della Chiana in the Arezzo countryside to a spectacular Villa that sleeps up to 15 people in 8 bedrooms!

Villa Laura has beautiful panoramic views and very stylish architecture and spacious gardens with its own private pool for guest use.

The bedrooms are tastefully decorated and there is plenty of counter space in the kitchen for cooking.

We think that one of the best thing about this villa is the room with the snooker table. It is perfect for relaxing and having fun in with friends and family. There is even a chess set in the corner!

Monte San Savino is a beautiful little Tuscan town located halfway between Siena and Arezzo and each year, it is home to a delicious food festival: the Sagra della Porchetta.

Food festivals are a penny a dozen in Italy with most towns having at least one but this one, in particular, promises some good eating. A well-known and popular event, it centres around suckling pig and is celebrated each September with a big festival and market where you can try the star of the show (the pig) or sample countless other local products and dishes.

Just find a luxury villa in Monte San Savino and you will be tasting the best pork of your life this September.

Enjoy a day trip to the walled Etruscan town of Monte San Savino in Arezzo province which was founded at the foot of its majestic castle called Castello di Gargonza.

This picturesque commune sits on the shoreline of the Esse Stream which flows through Valdichiana. It’s actually a combination of smaller frazioni like Gargonza and Palazzuolo.

J'ai aimé : Grand appartement au cœur du centre historique avec un petit supermarché et des restaurants à proximité. Propriétaire réactive et ponctuelle pour l arrivée et le départ. Attention 200 eur de deposit en espèces uniquement

Je n'ai pas aimé : En premier il n y a pas de Wifi comme notée et confirmée par l agence EasyReserve et Il n y a quasiment qu un peu de réseau si vous êtes sur le balcon au dessus de la rue.
Appartement des années 50 donc vielles prises électriques branlantes.
Les carpettes et tapis n’étaient pas aspires et le carrelage pas très propre. Rideau de baignoire plein de calcaire.
Pas de climatisation mais des ventilos. Si le soir vous ouvrez pour la fraîcheur, vous avez le bruit de la rue, du bar, du restaurant et des passants jusqu’à 23h30 et les voitures à 7 h le lendemain.
La cuisine a été refaite mais sans lave-vaisselle, ni micro-onde, ni lumière au dessus de l évier.

I liked: Large apartment in the heart of the historic center with a small supermarket and restaurants nearby. Responsive and punctual owner for arrival and departure. Attention: 200 eur deposit in cash only

I did not like: First there is no Wifi as noted and confirmed by the EasyReserve agency and there is only a small network if you are on the balcony above the street.
Apartment from the 50s so old rickety electrical outlets.
The rugs were not vacuumed and the tiles not very clean. Bath curtain full of limestone.
No air conditioning but fans. If you open up for the cool at night, you have the noise of the street, bar, restaurant and passers-by until 11:30 p.m. and cars at 7 a.m. the next day.
The kitchen has been redone but without dishwasher, microwave, or light above the sink.
Photos are bright but not in reality

The location is very central; nearby there are pizzerias, restaurants, pharmacies. It is a typical house of the late 50s. The cleaning is imperfect and the appearance of the house is neglected. A small room has no windows, while the other rooms have large windows and balconies. Very kind the lady who did the ceck in and the ceck out. The kitchen is very comfortable.
