Located just under one kilometre from the hamlet of Trequanda, in the heart of Tuscany, Italy, this welcoming property offers an ideal retreat for those in search of tranquillity and genuine relaxation. The farmhouse sits within a property of approximately one hectare, and its lush, partly fenced park of around 2,000 square metres is surrounded by the rolling Tuscan countryside. Guests benefit from private parking conveniently located near the main entrance in a shaded area, as well as complimentary Internet Wi-Fi throughout the stay. The beautifully maintained yard, rich with a wide variety of plants and flowers, frames the property with natural elegance and provides a serene outdoor environment for the entire duration of your visit.

Outdoors

The outdoor spaces at Poderino are a true highlight of the property, offering a harmonious blend of natural beauty and practical comfort. The park features an impressive variety of Mediterranean vegetation, including olive trees, cypresses, and holm oaks, while the area immediately in front of the villa is adorned with lemon plants, jasmine, oleander, and an assortment of potted flowers. Near the main entrance, a shaded parking area provides convenient vehicle access, and a dedicated alfresco dining area, sheltered by a sunbed canopy, invites leisurely outdoor meals in the open air. On the first floor, a spacious panoramic terrace furnished with a sofa and chairs offers sweeping views over the surrounding hills and the medieval town of Trequanda with its castle. Please note that the property photographs were taken in spring, so the flowering of plants and the colour of the garden grass may differ from what you will find upon arrival, depending on the season of your visit.

The non-heated panoramic swimming pool is situated approximately 20 metres from the farmhouse and is reached via a short walking path through the garden. The rectangular pool, oval-shaped on one side, measures 5 by 10 metres, with a depth ranging from 1.20 metres to 1.85 metres. Entry into the water is via a ladder, and the pool is equipped with a chlorine purification system as well as an internal lighting system. The surrounding solarium area features traditional cotto paving and grass, and is furnished with tables, sunbeds, sun umbrellas, and a cold outdoor shower. Lovely olive trees frame the pool without obstructing the magnificent views of the countryside and the hills beyond. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October.

Unit Layout

Poderino is configured to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests across 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, spread over 2 levels that are connected both internally and externally via sets of stairs. The ground floor is entered through the main entrance, which opens directly into the living room. To the right, a room housing a billiard table provides an entertaining space, while to the left, the dining area flows naturally into the fully equipped kitchen, which is adjacent to a pantry and laundry space. A service bathroom completes the ground floor layout.

The upper floor is dedicated to the sleeping area and includes 3 double bedrooms. One of these bedrooms features an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub, offering a private and comfortable retreat. The remaining 2 double bedrooms, one of which is fitted with divisible beds that can be arranged to suit different sleeping configurations, share a second bathroom equipped with a shower. Also on the upper floor, a study with direct access to the panoramic terrace provides a quiet space for reading or remote work, with beautiful views over the Tuscan landscape.

Other Information

Poderino accommodates a maximum of 2 animals, subject to prior authorisation from the owner. Before arrival, guests are required to communicate the number, size, and breed of their animals so that acceptance can be confirmed. A mandatory extra cleaning fee applies for stays involving animals and is to be arranged accordingly.

The tourist tax may be applicable depending on current local regulations and will be assessed where required.
