This property is located in the fortified medieval hamlet of Volpaia, in the Chianti Classico area, in a secluded position ensuring complete privacy. It is just a 300 m walk to the centre of the hamlet, with 2 restaurants, one of which managed by the Castello di Volpaia farm, where it is possible to taste the local cuisine. Cooking classes are also arranged, on request, by the English-speaking local office.
When you arrive you will be greeted by the owner or manager where you’ll find a lovely clean well-maintained property with views of the hills ideal for a splendid vacation in Tuscany. For your enjoyment you will find a private pool where you can unwind while enjoying a nice cold beverage after a hectic day of visiting museums. - 100% of total rental price if the cancellation is made from 45 days to arrival date or in case of no show.

Pozza Di Volpaia was everything we wanted and more. The house is wonderful and well equipped. Well kept, welcoming and extremely comfortable. Everyone was friendly and very helpful, especially Donica. The pool was perfect with the most beautiful view. The village is warm and friendly. We would love to return.

The location was absolutely fantastic and despite the unusual bad weather we had during our stay, we had a lot to visit at short driving distances from Volpaia.
The house was an elegant typical Toscanini dwelling with 4 double bedrooms with 3 bathrooms and one sigle bedroom with a nearby shower room.
The owner came to see us several times to solve the many problems we encountered during our stay.
A special mention to the housekeeper who was very efficient and helpful for us.
At this level of weekly rates, a few things have to be improved:
- the kitchen equipment is old and outdated (toaster and kettle have been changed during our stay)
- the tableware (plates and glasses) is mismatched and in a bad state, many chipped plates! (Additional cutlery has been supplied)
- the table linen is partly worn out
- electricity and in particular electrical outlets require specific triple sockets

The house had 5 large comfortable bedrooms rooms - all with en suite. Living areas and kitchen were very comfortable. Swimming pool was in constant use.

This is a stunning villa in an amazing location in the heart of Tuscany at the borders of Siena and Firenze's province.
People in the little village of Volpaia are lovely there are three amazing restaurants at walking distance from the house and stunning places all around.

Lovely village, very friendly people and the villa was good but needed some modernisation! There were a number of things missing in the kitchen that would have been very helpful and there isn't a lot of room to cook for a full set of visitors!

Excellent does not describe our stay at La Pozza di Volpaia, it is truly an enchanting place to call "home" for any length of stay! The highlight of our trip was the cooking class with Govianelli. We all learned a tremendous amount about cooking and the winery at Volpaia. We then dined on the multi course meal with "Jo" paired with the ourstanding wines of Voplaia.

A truly spectacular location - wonderful views, a lovely and comfortable house, and a great pool. Also, being a 2 minute walk to the village and its two restaurants was a big plus. Finally, the cooking lesson with Giovonella was a highlight - well worth the cost.

We traveled to Volpaia and stayed at Pozza in May of this year. It was our second time to stay at this lovely villa. The baths and bedrooms have been renovated since our first stay in 2018. We were a group of nine and our visit was excellent. The house is somewhat secluded from the hamlet of Volpaia but there are two or three restaurants within a couple of hundred yards walking distance. We were fortunate to have Donika agree to cook for us for five of seven day visit. Her meals were more than enough reason to stay there. All I can say is that the villa and grounds were fantastic. The views from the pool area were wonderful. We're already planning a return.
