We had the most wonderful fortnight at La Macchietta. The villa is perfectly located, private without feeling isolated with magical skyscapes overlooking the olive groves both at sunrise and sunset. The villa is just charmingly appointed. We loved everything about it. It came so thoughtfully equipped for games in the garden and pool, everything you need to cook summer meals in the kitchen or bbq on the terrace. Actually the terrace is perfect for everything from chilling, reading, enjoying some wine or having a mea. We all spent most of our time there. The cleaners were kind and helpful, with google translate a handy interpreter on both sides. I would love to come back and enjoy the best of Tuscany found here again soon.
