There are many thermal Pools very close to the house.
The owners are at your complete disposal for helping you to arrange visit to the main cellar and wineyard in Montepulciano and Montalcino and for wine tasting.

Interior Description

Apartament (300 sq mt.) first floor of the house.
The entrance is through the hearthroom with a tipical wood-burningfireplace and a wet bar.
Ahead is the combined living/dining room with spectacular view across the entire back window wall.
Adjacent to the living/dining room is a large, professionally equipped kitchen at the disposal of the guests.
Provisions for a Continental Breakfast will be stocked in the kitchen for your stay.

Opening either side of the hearthroom are the two master bedroom suites:

Lavanda Suite has two double beds and ensuite bathroom with a large panoramic shower.
Ginestra Suite contains its own living with a double sofa bed (available on request and to pay on the spot) and adjacent is the great King size bedroom with ensuite bathroom with bathtub.

As far back as the 5th century BC, Chianciano Terme has been known for its restorative properties. The Etruscans built a temple in the area honouring the god of Good Health, closely situated to the Silene springs and from the Romans, including the famed poet Horace, to modern-day travellers, these springs have been celebrated as a perfect place to relax and unwind.

However, there is also a wealth of natural beauty that is not entirely natural. By this, we mean that man has had a hand in its creation; in the creation of some exceptional gardens.

Villa La Foce is a historic villa and farm, overlooking the Val d'Orcia that boasts a wonderful garden. While the villa was built in the 15th century, the gardens date to the early 20th century and can be attributed to Antonio Origo and his Anglo-American wife Iris, who bought the property in 1924.

Come Take In The Relaxing Waters Of Chianciano Terme

Chianciano Terme can trace its origins to the 5th century BC, when the Etruscans arrived and built a temple that was dedicated to the god of Good Health, close to the Silene springs. Those springs and the waters of Chianciano have been a tourist destination and an attraction for their medicinal properties since Roman times and Horace himself is known to have bathed in and imbibed the waters.

Chianciano continued to both draw visitors and function as a regular town over the centuries but, in the 20th century, the springs specifically attracted the attention of developers and neoclassical buildings and facilities were built in the 20s and 30s. In the 40s, the then Fascist-controlled state took possession and destroyed and replaced these, drawing up a new plan under architects Loreti and Marchi. This plan was adjusted by the Town Technical Office of Chianciano in 1958 and eventually passed in 1961 and, today, there is the Old Town and New Town where the thermal spring spas were designed.

Many will have seen this image of the Tuscan countryside before. This striking and beautiful image of a sharply winding road, lined by cypresses and cutting through vivid lush fields and old stone buildings is the kind of almost unreal postcard-perfect corners of Tuscany that need to be seen with one's own eyes to be believed. My adult children, my husband and I had a great exprerience being there. They als own an awesome, beautiful restaurant which we went to and we were treated like royalty...
