Welcoming complex comprising 14 units situated on the Chianti hills on a large farming estate producing olive oil, wine and spirits. This property, offering beautiful panoramic views, is surrounded by cultivated fields and by 10 hectares of beautiful vineyards. All of the apartments are nicely furnished and provide a personal, furnished outdoor. The first 6 units are situated in the heart of the farming estate while the other 8 apartments are in a charming country house approx. 300 meters away from the farm. A shared swimming-pool is half way between the 2 groups of units.
The property’s central location is convenient for visiting Tuscany's most important places of interest such as Siena, Florence, San Gimignano and the entire Chianti area with its characteristic villages (Castellina, Greve, Radda, Gaiole, etc.) and its excellent wines.
A beautiful, consecrated chapel is on the premises and it is available for the organization of weddings.
The access to the property is via an unpaved but well-maintained road.
Distances: San Donato in Poggio with all kinds of shops 4,5 km away, the Chianti Classico region (Greve, Radda, Castellina, Gaiole ecc…) is within 40 km, Florence 35 km away, Siena 40 km, San Gimignano 40 km away, Volterra 65 km, Arezzo 80 km away, Lucca 105 km, Pisa 115 km away.
At guests’ disposal: large, well-groomed outside areas, shared swimming-pool approx. 150 meters away from the apartments (16 x 8 m – min. depth 1,4 m – max. depth 2,5 m – open from 01/05 through 30/09 from 9:00 to 19:00), the pool provides an area for children with low water, open area shower (only cold water available) by the pool, toilet with changing room, shared barbecue, 3 mountain bikes. Concrete tennis court available (free of charge).
WI-FI internet connection provided in a shared area by the reception. Laundry with shared washing-machine.
Parking within the grounds.
Extra services included in the rental price: guided tours of the farming estate wine cellars and wine tasting.

There is, of course, no shortage of things too see or do in Chianti but we might recommend one rather interesting annual event that takes place in the charming town of Castellina in Chianti at the end of August each year: the Watermelon Festival, or Sagra del Cocomero.

Geräumige und schön eingerichtete Wohnung mit großer Terrasse und umgebender Wiese. Großer Wohn-Essraum mit gut ausgestatteter Küchenzeile. Große Schlafräume, Bäder ausreichend groß. Herrlich gelegenes und absolut ruhiges Quartier mitten im Chianti mit Ausblick bis San Gimignano. Die letzten 2 km Anfahrt sind für den, der es gerne asphaltiert bis zur Haustüre hat, gewöhnungsbedürftig - aber vor den Erfolg haben die Götter den Schweiß gesetzt!

Large bedrooms, bathrooms big enough. Uniquely located and absolutely quiet position amid of the Chianti area with view to San Gimignano. The last 2 km access road are unpaved and those people who like it paved up to the front door need to get used to - but "in front of excellence the immortal gods have put sweat..."!

We loved it. We had two families, with three people each. The 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, were perfect for us. Our only complaint is that it is difficult to find. The directions need to be improved and more signs would be helpful. Other than that, the grounds are beautiful and the apartment was very comfortable. Everyone we dealt with was great.
