Country house "La Costa", 300 m a.s.l., detached, surrounded by trees and fields. 8 km from the centre of Vinci, 35 km from the centre of Firenze, 60 km from the centre of Pisa, in a quiet, sunny position on top of a hill, 60 km from the sea. Every year in July in the town of Vinci, birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci, a fantasy medieval celebration takes place called the Unicorn Festival!

Many comic book lovers, costume enthusiasts and performers flock to this little town and fill the place with colour, laughter, street performances and music! Why not book a lovely holiday villa in Vinci and enjoy a few days of fun and games!

He was born back in 1452, in a farmhouse located just outside of town. You can visit this Casa di Leonardo as well as the Leonardo Museum. The Church of Santa Croce is another sight to see, built in the 13th century.

Vinci, the birthplace of beloved the Renaissance Master, Leonardo da Vinci, is an exceptionally beautiful and picturesque part of Tuscany. Surrounded by lush forests, vineyards, olive groves, and rolling hills that are often swathed in atmospheric fog early in the morning, the town is made up of charming old stone buildings topped by terracotta tiled roofs and overlooked by a fairytale castle (which plays host to a Leonardo Museum) and the church of Santa Croce, with its pretty campanile.

Das gesamte Anwesen, der gigantische Pool, die Weiläufigkeit, wir (8 Personen) hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt (9 Nächte). Kleine "italienische" Mängel wie, Spülmaschine hat nicht richtig funktioniert, das Lichtschaltersystem ist sehr unübersichtlich, kann man verschmerzen. Auch bei der Mülltrennung wäre eine genauere Einweisung bzw. Beschriftung der Behälter hilfreich.
Der Strom, der extra zu bezahlen ist bei Abreise, ist nicht nur teuer, er ist exorbitant teuer. Das sollte man vorher wissen. Ansonsten werden wir alle diesen Aufenthalt nicht vergessen.

(English translation - The entire property, the gigantic pool, the frequency, we (8 people) had a great stay (9 nights). Small "Italian" defects such as, dishwasher did not work properly, the light switch system is very confusing, you can get over. Also with the waste separation a more exact instruction or inscription of the containers would be helpful.
The electricity, which is extra to pay on departure, is not only expensive, it is exorbitantly expensive. You should know that in advance.
Otherwise, all of us will not forget this stay.)

Nice villa with special flair. Without the big terrace outside, the kitchen inside the house would have been too small, but it was okay when only two people were in the kitchen at the same time. Doors and some of the inventory was not well treated and needs replacement. Next to the villa there was a dog by himself barking all night long which was not nice and kept us awake many hours during the night. The outside terrace is beautiful and we had great hours with our friends there while the wooden Pizza oven made nice dinner for all of us. Without this it wouldn't have been so nice. Pool area is very nice also and a gentleman came every morning to clean up the outside area. Nice house but needs upgrades inside, especially the room doors.
