Agriturismo San Clemente belongs to the farm called La Torricella; a farmhouse built in 1900 and renovated in 2009. Recently more than 23 hectares of olive trees have been planted and also new vines of Sangiovese, Cabernet, Merlot, Colorino, all Chianti Classico area; it is possible to buy the excellent Chianti Classico and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

The farm is located at only 2 km. from Panzano in Chianti, in a quiet area situated at 498 meters. altitude and not fare even from the town Greve in Chianti, along the road S.R. 222 at km-pole 32.600, equidistant from the famous art cities Florence and Siena.
The accommodation is brand new. There are 5 apartments.

All finely restored with terracotta floors and beamed ceilings, furnished in rustic Tuscan style and equipped with:

Spacious apartment in an old stone building. New clean bathrooms. Spacious bedrooms also. The other bedroom has a double bed, and the other one has a double bed and a single bed. We got a baby bed as requested.

Kitchen area had fridge, freezer, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, micro, toaster, all utensils. The nearest town Panzano is about 2 kilometers away so it is best to have a car. In Panzano there is one small grocery store Coop, but if you are coming from the direction of Greve, there is bigger Coop and it is better to stop to buy some food there. Note that the Coops are open midday and evening but close in the afternoon.

There is a small pool in the garden of the villa but we couldn't use it during our stay (in July). The water was dirty and you couldn't see the bottom of the pool. The owners tried to clean it with some chemicals but it didn't help. Since the owners do not speak English, it wasn't clear to us what the problem was.

There is wine and olive oil tasting in the same building. Owners can also cook some food but we didn't try that. There are several good restaurants in Panzano - Cantinetta Sassolini, Oltre il Giardino, Dario Doc and Solociccia.

Alles in Ordnung und sauber!!! Auch die Bettwäsche sehr sauber und angenehm. Ein sehr schöner Ort zum Entspannen und tollem Panoramablick. Auch der Pool war sehr schön. Einzig störend waren manchmal die vorbeifahrenden Motorräder.

The apartment was very clean and modern, could have done with a few more cooking utensils, pots, and a kettle for boiling water. Otherwise an excellent stay, the woman at the front desk Maria was so helpful to us, nothing was too much for her to do to make our stay absolutely wonderful!

We really enjoyed this place and location. It was perfectly located midway between Siena and Firenze(Florence)but close to the quiet town of Panzano. The property was great and having air-conditioning was fantastic for our children during the extremely hot weather. Likewise pool was perfect to cool down and had some great views.
The hosts were extremely accommodating and helped with sorting out a wine tour for us.

We loved our stay at Agriturismo San Clemente. It has a great location, is newly renovated, and is very clean. We stayed in the Pinot apartment and it was perfect for us (a couple with a small dog). Their olive oil and wine are both fantastic, so we recommend trying them during your stay!
