Hidden amongst the wooded slopes around Cortona, 700 m. above the sea level, in a quiet and panoramic position, it is an ideal place for a vacation in contact with an environment still intact and uncontaminated. Around the holiday houses there is a wide garden with outdoor furniture, children’s play area, table tennis, volley ball field and barbecue and a large family size table, to eat unforgettable meals immersed in nature. In a natural terrace above the houses there is a beautiful 6 x 12 m. swimming pool (depth 1,40 m.) for the guests’ exclusive use. Il Cerro can lodge several families who decide to spend their holiday together, even though maintaining their privacy (each house has its own kitchen).

nice location, secluded, close to Cortona, unpleasant smell from the sewer. Otherwise excellent villa.

The location of Il Cerro is very beautiful, in rolling hilly country (note that is is about 10 km of mountain road to the nearest town, which we did not mind at all as the views from the road were so fine). The grounds of the property are spacious and lovely and the swimming pool is nicely situated. The playground area on the grounds is great for children. There are plenty of places to sit outdoors around the property. The grounds are very well maintained. In contrast, the interior furnishings are sparce.
