Property Description

You will find the farmhouse I Cerretini in the heart of the Valdichiana Senese, near the border between Tuscany and Umbria. You'll soon get used to its panoramic position, the suggestive view of the surrounding countryside that changes its colours with the seasons. The farmhouse is a typical example of the old Valdichiana rural houses built in red bricks, and is furnished in a simple and comfortable way, like the peasant houses of the past.
I Cerretini is located just outside the small village of Valiano, which can be easily reached on foot and where there are bars and small shops for basic necessities.
Just a few minutes drive away you will find the famous medieval town of Montepulciano, situated on the crest of a hill between the Val d'Orcia and the Valdichiana and rich in countless examples of Renaissance architecture. You can't miss a visit to the town, its ancient wine cellars carved into the rock and, above all, to taste the famous “Nobile di Montepulciano” wine. A dinner with the most famous typical Tuscan dishes in one of the restaurants or trattorias in the historic centre will be an experience to remember.
Lake Trasimeno is also very close by and for water sports lovers can be reached in 15 minutes by car.
The house has a large and panoramic garden in, a beautiful fenced pool (size m. 6x12, depth m. 1.60 - open from 01st May to 30th September), a gazebo equipped with tables and chairs, barbecue, volleyball court, table tennis, swing and some shaded parking spaces. In our opinion, because of the large spaces and the available facilities it is the ideal house for groups with children. A breathtaking view for adults and a swimming pool, games and plenty of space for your children. Your beloved pets will also love the location.

We had a wonderful stay at Ceretini. The property was exactly as described. Our host checked in to ensure everything was going well. We had awesome views of the countryside from the balcony. Too, we enjoyed being so close to many hillside communities.

Unser Aufenthalt mit sechs Erwachsenen und zwei Vorschulkindern war unvergesslich.

Wunderschönes Haus mit neuer Küche, bequemen Betten und einem traumhaften Ausblick. Der Pool ist richtig groß und wird vom Besitzer selbst regelmäßig gereinigt. Die Außenanlagen sind sehr gepflegt und laden zum grillen und draußen sitzen ein. Das Dorf ist typisch italienisch, nach Montepulciano ist es nicht weit und zum nächsten Supermarkt fährt man etwa 15 Minuten.

Wir hatten unseren Hund mit, was auch völlig problemlos funktioniert hat (Extrakosten: 5 Euro pro Tag).

Wir waren hier sehr glücklich und kommen ganz sicher wieder.

Ein herzliches Dankeschön an den Besitzer Andrea, der uns mit seiner herzlichen Art das Gefühl gab, Zuhause zu sein. Grazie mille!!!

Villa Cerritini is a very nice house - we were 12 persons living there under our vacation. The pool is clean and well managed, and it is a good thing that there is a table with chairs, so that we could spend evenings outside too.
The house is not too far from Montepoliciano, a very beautiful city with a lot to see, both in the city and on the way to the city and back.

La maison est super bien située dans une rue très calme. Les abords de la maison sont bien. Le seul point négatif est que l'intérieur est un peu vieux et manque en peu d'entretien. Mais a part cela superbe endroit et propriétaire super sympathique et toujours disponible

Villa molto bella, con un bel giardino e una piscina veramente grande.
Pulita e il proprietario molto gentile. Aggiungerei 2 sdraio in piscina e qualche pentola ma ci siamo trovati molto bene. Anche la posizione è comanda e vicino a tanti posti da visitare !

Un posto tranquillo in mezzo alla natura. Ottimo punto di appoggio per visitare i dintorni e perfetta per rilassarsi! Silenziosa e tranquilla zona di campagna. Noi in famiglia e col cane abbiamo avuto modo di godere di un ottima vacanza. Tutta la gestione della villa è fatta con discrezione, la pulizia e la cura degli spazi esterni perfetta e la gentilezza del proprietario davvero un altro punto a favore. Gli arredi sono essenziali ma funzionali! La consiglio vivamente e credo che la prenderemo di nuovo in consiederazione per una prossima vacanza.

We as a family and with the dog had the opportunity to enjoy a great holiday. The whole management of the villa is done with discretion, the cleaning and care of the outdoor spaces perfect and the kindness of the owner really another positive point. The furnishings are basic, but functional! I highly recommend it and believe we will consider it again for a next vacation.

Ich kann das Haus Cerrentini nur empfehlen. Supergünstig in der Nebensaison und wunderschön. Das Haus hat echt ein schönen großen Garten mit tollen Ausblick und man ist sehr schnell in Montepulciano, Sienna oder Perugia. Ich empfehle das Haus vor allem großen Gruppen. Wir waren zwölf personen und hatten beide Wohnungen gemietet. Die untere Wohnung ist dennoch groß genug das man zusammen essen kann und es gibt sogar fast genug Liegestühle für jeden. Die Vermieter sind übrigens auch super nett. Auch jungen Leuten kann ich das Haus empfehlen. Wir wurden super herzlich empfangen.

The house has a lovely large garden with great view and you can easily reach Montepulciano, Siena or Perugia. I recommend this house especially to large groups. We were twelve people and we had rented the two units. The lower apartment is big enough that you can eat all together and there are even nearly enough sun loungers for everyone. Moreover the owners are very kind. I can recommend this house even to young people. We received a very warm welcome.
