A beautiful independent villa located near Castiglion Fiorentino, a charming village in the Val di Chiana area. The house is very comfortable and the outdoor area boasts a private swimming pool that overlooks the valley below.
The owner, a kind and hospitable person, lives next to the villa however does not share the garden or pool with guests.
Villa Senaia is ideal for anyone looking for a great countryside vacation rental. The villa’s location makes it a perfect base from which to discover central Tuscany and Umbria.
Distances: Just 3 km away Castiglion Fiorentino offers a range of stores while at the following distances guests can find Cortona (14 km), Montepulciano (40 km), Pienza (45 km), Perugia (60 km), Montalcino (65 km), Siena (73 km), Florence (95 km) and San Gimignano (110 km).
Available to guests: Large, well-kept garden with furniture, exclusive pool (12 x 6 m – minimum depth 1,4 m – maximum depth 2,4 m – open from 01/05 to 30/09), outdoor solar-heated shower, barbecue and wood-burning oven, large furnished portico area with table and chairs for outdoor dining, outdoor room with washing machine. Free WI-FI. The villa windows are complete with mosquito screens.

Villa Senaia was a beautiful villa! Everything about it was perfect! The owner Giuseppe, his wife Laura and their two babies were so sweet and the perfect host! You will not want to leave! Made reservations for next year before we left!

Wonderful place! It was our first time to Italy and Villasenia was a perfect place to stay. The owners were very helpful and greeted us with a welcome buffet of food and wine. The owners live right next door and were very helpful when we had any questions. They were there when we needed them but also let us have our space. This house was located on a hill covered by olive oil trees and beautiful view!! Would definitely recommend Villasenia for anyone looking to vacation in the Tuscany area. Close to the train station and easy to get to Florence and Rome.

The perfect villa in Tuscany...Villasenaia
We just returned from three weeks in Italy and the highlight of our vacation was a week at Villasenaia. If you are wanting to spend time in a villa in Tuscany while you explore the surrounding cities, then you can stop searching because I have found the perfect place for you. It is Villasenaia located in the quaint village of Castiglione Fiorentino. This 4 bedroom villa is gorgeous, roomy, and has every amenity to make you feel at home. We just returned from a week at Villasenaia during September 2014. The host, Guiseppi, is most personal and accommodating. His charming wife, Laura, treated us to homemade pan dulce one morning!
The villa is set on a hillside overlooking the countryside. At night the entire city of Castiglione Fiorentino lights up in the near distance right in front of you. What a sight while you're sitting by the pool sipping local homemade wine. Local restaurants serve delicious and reasonably priced dinners. Stock your kitchen for cooking at home or enjoy a panini and gelato in town. Guiseppi can even arrange a cooking lesson at the Villa to give you the experience of making your own fresh pasta.
You can easily take car day trips to Siena, Montelpuciano, Arrezo. You can catch a one hour train into Florence if you would rather not drive. All in all, this is a splendid place to rest under the Tuscan sun.

Villasenaia "far" exceeded our expectations...it was absolutely fabulous. We "will" stay again. Our week there was, by far, the highlight of our stay in Italy. In a word....stunning. Our host was incredibly cordial, engaging and overwhelmingly friendly. We had the time of our lives at Villasenaia. Like I said....we will be back.

Wij hebben genoten van de gastvrijheid en de attenties van de eigenaar. De villa was prachtig met een riant zwembad en schitterend uitzicht,de barbecue is echt zo mooi als op de fotoos. Enige minpuntje was de keukenapparatuur, een tikje oud en niet alles werkte goed,het bedden- en linnengoed was wel schoon maar zag er niet fris wit uit, wel jammer omdat de prijs toch wel aan de hoge kant is. Ondanks deze minpuntjes toch een echte aanrader.

The villa was lovely with a large swimming pool and stunning views, the barbecue is really as beautiful as the pictures show. Only minus was the kitchen, a bit old and not everything worked well, the linens were clean but did not look crisp white, a pity because the price is on the high side. Despite these flaws still highly recommended.
