Outdoors

Val di Marco's outdoor spaces are a true celebration of the Umbrian landscape. The 1-hectare garden is adorned with a vibrant assortment of colourful plants set against a backdrop of lush green grass. A graceful row of lavender, arranged in a semicircle, frames the pergola, which is set up for outdoor dining and draped in fragrant climbing jasmine, creating a deeply atmospheric setting for meals in the open air. A short distance away, a small grassy clearing dotted with olive trees provides the ideal setting for the gazebo, where guests can enjoy an aperitif or gather for a barbecue while taking in views of the surrounding woodland and cultivated fields. The swimming pool is non-heated and enclosed by a wooden fence and net, positioned on panoramic terracing at a higher level than the main house. It can be reached via a short flight of brick steps or along a paved ramp through the parking area. Rectangular in shape, the pool measures 6 x 12 metres, with a depth ranging from 1.30 metres to 1.70 metres. It features salt purification, internal lighting, and a PVC lining, with access to the water via Roman steps. The surrounding sandstone-paved area is furnished with sunbeds, deckchairs, and tables, and is equipped with a shower offering both hot and cold water. Two additional poolside gazebos provide welcome shade during the warmest hours of the day. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October. Please note that the photographs of the property were taken in spring, and therefore the blossoming of flowers and the colour of the garden grass may differ at the time of your arrival.

The ground floor is divided into 2 separate units. The first entrance leads to 2 double bedrooms, one of which features a fireplace, a kitchenette, and an en-suite bathroom with shower, as well as a living room with a kitchenette and French window, and a second bathroom with shower that is suitable for guests with disabilities. The second entrance opens into a small hallway giving access to a double bedroom, a room with a kitchenette, and a bathroom with shower. The upper floor is similarly divided into 2 separate areas. The first area comprises a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, and a room with a kitchenette. The second area consists of a double bedroom with a kitchenette, a bathroom with shower, and a second double bedroom with a kitchenette and an en-suite bathroom with shower. Accessed directly from the garden on the ground floor through large French windows, a spacious open-plan kitchen, lounge, and dining room with fireplace serves as the communal heart of the property.
