The structure is surrounded by a 10.000 enclosed park. with old trees, in which is inserted the swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests (12m. x 5m. prof. 120 / 220cm.). The property also has a beautiful panoramic and equipped pergola for outdoor dining and private parking. Wi-Fi free.
The Villa is located 3km. from Vicchio (birthplace of Giotto and Fra Angelico), at 42km. from Florence, at 27km. from the "Barberino Designer Outlet" (over 100 stores of major brands of Italian and international fashion) and Lake "Bilancino" (canoeing, sailing, windsurfing), at 23km. from the "Poggio dei Medici Golf Club", at 6km. from the riding stable.
NOTE: arrivals must take place between 15.00 and 17.00 hours (unless otherwise notified). Pets are allowed by arrangement with the owners when booking. The villa, although it is attached from the back to the farm, where the caretaker lives, enjoys total privacy.

On the ground floor: large living room with satellite TV and DVD player; important dining room with ceilings "caisson" decorated; living room which leads to the terrace; large kitchen equipped with a five burner stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, coffee machine, dishwasher, blender and toaster; 1 double bedroom; 2 bedrooms with two single beds each; 1 bathroom with shower (toilet / bidet); 1 bathroom with shower, bath and washing machine (WC / bidet).
At the first floor is accessed by a stone staircase and you will find: the living room with access to terrace; 2 double bedrooms; 2 bedrooms with two single beds each; 1 bathroom with bath (toilet / bidet); 3 bathrooms with shower (toilet / bidet);
Comfortably furnished with antique and period furniture.

Payments And Cancellation Charges

The initial deposit required to confirm a reservation to be paid at the time of booking (unless there are special conditions in place) is 25% of the total rent amount.

The balance is due 45 days before arrival.

For last-minute bookings (within 45 days of arrival) the full amount must be paid at the time of the booking.

In case of cancellation of the booking, even if it is substituted by another one, the following penalties apply:
- the initial deposit (25% of total rent) if the cancellation is made between booking time up to 46 days before arrival date;
- 100% of total rental price if the cancellation is made from 45 days to arrival date or in case of no show.

The Villa was lovely, the bedrooms large and most had a bathroom either on suite or close by. We loved sitting out under the wisteria where we could eat or just read and look at the beautiful view. The pool was great and we all enjoyed it, Grand-parents, parents and young children. We did have a problem with mosquitoes , there were mosquito plugs in the bedrooms but they still managed to get in - take anti-mosquito cream etc with you. Also, there needs to be a key pad on the gates as they only supply 2 clickers which is not enough for 3-4 cars. You must have cars as there are no buses and taxis are not ready available - the village is about 3 kms away.
We booked a chef for one meal which was marvelous for the price. All in all, a great success. (we were a family party of 13, all ages)
