We stayed in massi from 31th of july till 14th of august . I must say we where pleased when we arrived at the property . The property was verry clean , the gardens arround the complex where excellent and the landlord(ess) was verry friendly and helpfull. We can recommend the house for everybody who wants to enjoy the surrounding views ( wich was great, the city of San gimignano at the hillside).
You are nearby the big places if you want to explore Tuscany.
The housewine is deliscious .
The pool is verry nice , wich is well maintained ( this includes the garden)

Villa Margherita or Casa Serena, named to the owners daughter, is situated in Bagnole, up in the mountains near Cortona. It can be reached by driving an unpaved road ending up at a small community in an 'agritursimo' setting. The house is surrounded by trees, providing pleasant shadows during hot summer times. Villa Margherita is decorated nicely with all necessary amenities. The view from the house to the area is sensational, panoramic. The pool is large and nice and for exclusive use, it is situated about 30 meter away from the house, and does provide almost, but not full privacy. The pool is kept clean by the housekeeper on a regular basis. The owners of the house are very, very friendly and helpful. The nearest restaurant or supermarket can only be found 20 minutes drive away. We really loved our stay at Casa Margherita. Thank you Serena!

Very nice, quiet property. We really enjoyed our stay there. There is no air-con, however the house was quite cool in early August when we stayed. Easy access to Lucca, Pisa, Florence and the coast.
We arrived at night and it can be difficult to locate, access to the property is by a lane off the SS445 road, the turn is 1.3km on the right hand side from the bridge at Fornoli.

Fantastisch mooi gelegen huis : een oase van rust, stilte en de meest prachtige uitzichten. We waren sprakeloos. Prima gelegen voor uitstappen naar de kust (Rosignano Solvay - Spiagge Bianche!), naar Firenze of naar Siena. Tip : breng matjes voor de ligstoelen mee.

Heerlijk vakantiehuis temidden van vele bezienswaardigheden midden in Toscane. Ligging is mooi, ruimte prima voor een grote groep. Zwembad fantastisch en goed onderhouden. Meubels in tuin en huis en huisraad kan beter,is wat goedkoop en versleten.

Fabulous pool and well maintained. Garden furniture, house furniture and household goods could be better, they are a little cheap and worn.

We didn't think the property lived up to the description on the internet.
The property was very close to the Highway and we couldn't sleep without the windows shut.It was extremely noisey.
The property was very basic and there were a few things which didn't work properly like the cooker which we had to buy a igniter for.
There were no cleaning items provided and the floor hadn't been swept under the only sofa-bed.
There were not enough chairs to sit on and the toilet roll holder was rusty.
There were not enough chair beds for the pool or sun shades, but the worst thing really was the directions to the property which were completely wrong. IT took us 2 hours to find it following the directions and then we had to ask someone to help us.

Querciolaia is a wonderful property with unbelievably beautiful views. It's a perfect set up with a smaller house for the late night teenagers and a larger home for the grown ups. One glitch was that the owner expected the final payment in cash (approximately $2,000 USD) which we were not notified of until mid-week of our visit.

The yellow apartment is bigger than it looked in the pictures, and access to the garden and the sense of intimacy are perfect. The owners are very friendly, feeling of familiarity and independence. We very much enjoyed our stay in San Lorenzo. The owner is friendly, the house was clean, well equipped and spacious. The garden and outside areas were beautiful and maintained with care. Our young children enjoyed the play area and - of course - the lovely pool. And what better way to enjoy your lunch - al fresco - next to the pool, eating delicious tomatoes you just picked from the vegetable garden.
