we really enjoyed our stay at Giovanna vacanze …. it was a very pleasant surprise. the gardens are lovely and the view outstanding …. the family were VERY hospitable and the host gave us a bottle of red on arrival AND departure! we had the apartment that accommodated our family of four however we had no balcony which is probably the only thing i would have liked so we could enjoy the view more from our apartment! the cost for five days was reasonable and it was also lovely to be in a quieter town but only a stones throw from san gimignano!

We (2 adults, 2 kids < 3y) have just left after 8 nights at Casa Caldesi, having thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Although initially hard to find, once there we were greeted by our host and we were made most welcome. Our apartment was beautifully decorated, clean and very spacious for the 4 of us. Nice rooms with great beds and typical tuscany furniture. We enjoyed having a "nonna & nonno" as well as a dog and chickens around, and being in an working agricultural grove (olive, fruits, vegetables, wine) added to the attraction for both adults and kids. Despite our lack of Italian and the minimal English/French/Spanish of the "nonna & nonno" we enjoyed fresh eggs, fruits & vegetables nearly every day and besides the clean and wide pool - it all added to the fun of our holiday. We can recommend this place to anyone happy to look after themselves in quiet and beautiful surroundings but somewhat off the beaten track and city (dis-)comforts. Thanks to our gracious hosts - we are looking forward to visit Casa Caldesi again.

Torre Forese was the perfect stop for the Tuscany portion of our honeymoon. The tower (or castle as we called it) is beautifully decorated. Has all the comforts of home. In addition it is in the FABULOUS town of Figline. I can't say enough about this little town. You can truly get a true Tuscan experience here. The town is friendly and everything is within walking distance. The week at Torre Forese was my favorite part of Italy. We used it as a home base to see the Chianti region and visit Florence and Siena. But mostly we love the little restaurants and local crowds. Hope to stay there again soon!!

We had the most wonderful stay at Casa Montecuccoli. Brilliant location, brilliant property and charming host. We were 2 families travelling together (4 adults & 6 kids) yet the house never felt crowded. We would highly recommend Casa Montecuccoli.

This Villa was absolutely beautiful. It exceeded our expectations in every way. It was surrounded by vineyards and trees. The property itself is meticulously maintained.
The unit was very well decorated and had every amenity we needed. It is about a 5 minute drive into Montalcino, which was one of our favorite towns in Tuscany. The owner, his wife, and property manager (Beatrice) went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this property and would return again, this time for a much longer stay

Tomasso, the villa owner was wonderful and we had a fabulous time staying at the Villa Paradiso. We would definitely recommend it. The only drawback I would say is that the pool was not heated.

This villa was the last stop on our vacation and it was perfect after the hectic and crowded cities we visited. The owners were wonderful and very helpful. While a nice quiet spot, it was close to hillside village and other interesting places to visit. We also enjoyed using the kitchen to have relaxing meals at "home" rather than always eating out.

This was our second stay in Anfora 2 and again it was wonderful! Very quiet domani with a fantastic pool. Everything is in perfect condition. We will swety tell our friends of this heavenly place. Family Janssens. Belgium.

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Ardene. The staff were wonderful the location superb.We suggest you have them cook at least one dinner for you. Great!. The villa was a little hard to find but once there was amazingly close to Montpulciano, a wonderful hillside town. The location was close enough to a train station to get to Florence for the day. Close to other unique towns. Only comment I have is that we used up the last week before high season and the grass was not mowed until the Thursday of our stay. It just felt like they were preparing for the big money people. There were 8 of us in the group who eventually went there so we had more rooms than we needed but for 10-14 it would have been just right! There is a little grocery store a short distance from the villa that provided all the basics we needed and plenty of shops for the rest.
