Each Apartment offers in the garden a private and equipped outdoor area (a gazebo for each unit).
The owners live in a section of the property and occasionally use the pool.

After passing through the Gherardi family, the property was acquired by the Bolognese de' Bianchi family. Major restorations were initiated in 1898 by Count Filippo Sassoli de' Bianchi to restore its 15th-century appearance, despite significant 18th-century refurbishments, including the still-consecrated Chapel dated 1729. The holiday villa accommodates up to 18 guests across 9 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, distributed between the main building and the barn. The main building spans two levels. On the ground floor, you will find a very cozy rustic tavern featuring a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a service bathroom used as a laundry room, and a rustic room used as a dining room. A corner with internet service is also located on this level. The ground floor additionally houses 2 double bedrooms, each with a private bathroom with a shower, and provides access to the garden corner with views of Chiusi. On the first floor, accessed through a charming loggia, there is a spacious living room, a kitchenette equipped with a dishwasher and 2 ovens, 2 double bedrooms each with a private bathroom with a shower, and 2 double or twin bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The barn contains 2 double bedrooms and 1 double or twin bedroom, each with an en-suite bathroom with a shower. All three barn bedrooms feature independent entrances and are suitable for disabled people, with access to a porch and pool view.

The property does not include daily cleaning services, though final cleaning at the end of your stay is provided. Upon arrival, you will be required to provide a security deposit which will be returned at the end of your stay minus the cost of any damages incurred. A tourist tax may be required upon arrival according to the regulations of the municipality. Dogs are welcome at the property, with specific charges applied for additional cleaning.

If you book a holiday at Casale Aiola you will find yourself immersed in a modern farmhouse and forestry farm, surrounded by greenery and set in the total tranquillity of the hills on the border between Tuscany and Umbria, among age-old woods and picturesque valleys. Casale Aiola is an old stone farmhouse divided into two parts. In one part of the house lives the owner who, with his discreet presence, will be a sure reference point for any need.
The farmhouse is located about 25 km from the beautiful Cortona, in Tuscany and about 15 km from the village of Trestina, in Umbria. You can do your shopping in either Cortona or Trestina, both of which have shops, supermarkets and services.
From here you have easy access to green Umbria, with its small villages nestled in the lush hills and bucolic landscapes of Lake Trasimeno, Perugia is only 60 km away.
Similarly, once you have reached Cortona, the splendid towns and cities of southern Tuscany will open up for you to discover. From Cortona to the farmhouse the road is perhaps a little long, even though it is all paved. But once you are there you will be rewarded with the absolute tranquillity of the place.
In our opinion Casale Aiola is definitely suitable for groups of families with children. The large green space around the house is perfect for the little ones to run and play in the middle of nature. Also available, in front of the house, is a children's swimming pool (size m. 4x8 - depth 0.60 m. - open from 15 May to 30th September), table tennis, table football, children's games and a bowling green. Pets are welcome (extra charge could be required).
For adults and children there is a large private swimming pool (size 9x16 m. -depth 1,20 m. completely fenced - open from 15 May to 30th September) with bathroom with shower and a small gazebo with fridge to cool down on hot summer days and the tennis court.
