We find Podere Marcigliano nestled in the green Valdichiana, on a gentle hill at the gates of the town of Cortona, which is a must-visit destination. First with its Etruscan and then Roman reminiscences, the town enjoyed considerable prosperity during the medieval period and from 1411 followed the glorious fortunes of the Granducato di Toscana. Its cobbled alleys that wind their way up the hill, the ancient buildings, squares and churches, will make you fall in love with this small and industrious centre of the Valdichiana of Arezzo area, a memory you will always carry in your heart in the years to come, we are sure!

Podere Marcigliano consists of 2 newly built villas, which nevertheless reflect the architectural characteristics of the farmhouses of the past. In the first building there are 3 apartments (Torreone, Tufa and the first floor owner’s apartment), in the second there are 2 units (Corito and Rugapiana).
Each apartment has a large green area, a beautiful swimming pool (size 7x14 m, depth 1.50 m - open from 17 May to 30 September and fully fenced), a barbecue, a laundry room in common use and children's games, and its own private area equipped with a furnished gazebo for your meals in the open air.

The non-heated swimming pool is open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October and enjoys a magnificent view of Cortona and the surrounding gentle hills. Rectangular in shape, it measures 16 x 8 metres with a depth ranging from 1.20 to 2.20 metres, and access to the water is provided via large steps or a ladder. The pool is lined in PVC with chlorine purification, and its border is finished in elegant sandstone. Surrounding the pool is a beautifully maintained lawn that serves as the solarium area, furnished with sunbeds, deckchairs, chairs, and 2 large umbrellas to ensure comfort during sunny days. On one side of the pool stands a large gazebo furnished with chairs and a table, ideal for aperitifs at sunset. An outdoor water shower is also available at the poolside. Adjacent to the kitchen, a large and fully equipped portico, complete with a cooker, provides the perfect setting for outdoor dining and barbecues. The expansive grounds surrounding the estate invite guests to enjoy quiet walks and mountain bike rides through the shimmering cornfields and sunflower meadows, while the elevated position of the property affords glorious sunsets and unique natural scenery.
