What to Expect
This beautiful farmhouse is located in a very quiet and secluded position on the Castello di Volpaia estate, where we have successfully been renting two other properties, La Pozza and Il Casetto for many years. Guests can enjoy incredible views from the covered terrace, which is furnished for outdoor eating and is also very practical for families as it overlooks the pool, allowing parents to relax while keeping an eye on the pool area. The fortified hamlet of Volpaia offers two nice restaurants, one of which owned by the estate. The English speaking estate staff can organize cooking lessons, visits to the wine cellars and will be glad to assist guests during their stay.
Upon arrival at Casavecchia you’ll find a nice clean well-maintained property with views of the hills ideal for a splendid vacation in Tuscany. After a busy day of sightseeing, spend some time with friends and family poolside enjoying a glass of wine - a perfect way to unwind at the end the day. The main swimming pool, which is non-heated, measures 12 x 6 metres with a variable depth ranging from 1.20 to 1.40 metres. It is rectangular in shape, fitted with a PVC lining, chlorine purification system, internal lighting, and a metal ladder for access. Adjacent to it, a dedicated children's pool measures 6 x 3 metres with a constant depth of 0.50 metres, making it perfectly safe for younger guests. Both pools are bordered by a light stone solarium furnished with sunbeds, umbrellas, small tables, and ornamental features. A shower is also available within the pool area. The pools are open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.
