Description
Casale La Pieve is a wonderful Farmhouse on the hills of the Versilia area in Tuscany, just above Viareggio and Torre del Lago, and from here you can enjoy a pleasant and relaxing sea view over the whole coast.
This holiday farmhouse is composed of 3 independent holiday apartments for rent where each one has its own private outdoor area, such as a terrace or a garden (or both).
The property features a shared pool:
- Open from May till October, from 9AM till 7PM.
- 8,5 m length, 4.5m wide, 1,3m deep.
- Depuration: Chlorine.
The property also features a common outdoor area where everyone can enjoy a specific area without meeting each other:
- small garden at the entrance;
- large garden for children (or adults) with games such as swing, table tennis and slide;
- a lookout with seats where it is possible to enjoy the views over the Massaciuccoli Lake and the Sea.
All the holiday apartments have a WiFi connection, Satellite Television, all have Air Conditioning and all have sea views.
If you whish to spend some day at the beaches, then it is very easily to reach in 11Km till Viareggio.
Also the most important cultural cities of Tuscany are at a jump away: Pisa and Lucca, only 20 Minutes, or Florence in just 40.
Pieve a Elici and the surrounding area is also perfect for trekking and cultural visits.

The garden, extending over approximately 1,500 square metres on a hilly terrain, is mostly laid to lawn and enlivened by fruit and olive trees, colourful flowers, and traditional Tuscan herbs. Numerous panoramic areas are distributed throughout the garden, each offering breathtaking views of the sea and the surrounding Versilian landscape. The outdoor dining area, furnished with a table, is positioned under a portico adjacent to the swimming pool and a traditional brick barbecue, creating an ideal setting for al fresco meals. The non-heated swimming pool is located on the same level as the ground floor of the villa, approximately 2 metres away, and offers a spectacular panoramic view of Viareggio and its blue sea. Rectangular in shape and measuring 3.5 x 7 metres with a constant depth of 1.15 metres, the pool is lined in sky-blue soft PVC and equipped with chlorine purification and large steps for easy water access. A terracotta-paved solarium area surrounds the pool and is furnished with sunbeds shaded by 2 umbrellas. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. In the church of San Michele Arcangelo is a Monumental Organ built in 1600 by the Venetian Vincenzo Colonna, and able to reproduce any kind of sound, on which the maestro Giacomo Puccini who loved this area, played. This cosy and elegant house is surrounded by the typical vegetation of these areas, centuries-old olive trees and orchards that thrive in the year-round mild climate. The villa has been renovated in the Tuscan style and furnished with simple furniture. Villa ai Venti has two floors. The main entrance is through the portico that leads into an open-plan space with dining room and living room with fireplace and direct access to the garden. At the side of the living room is the fully-equipped kitchen and a study with fireplace, a bathroom with shower and a utility room with laundry and with a French window going out to the back of the garden. A flight of sandstone stairs leads up to the first floor, consisting of three double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and two bathrooms, one with shower and one with tub.

Directly in front of the villa, a paved living area enclosed by laurel hedges offers a refined and private setting for outdoor relaxation. Beyond a stretch of green lawn lies a tuff-paved zone featuring a dedicated outdoor dining area and a barbecue, all sheltered beneath the generous canopy of a centuries-old medlar tree. Open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October, this non-heated rectangular pool measures 6 by 12 metres with a depth of 1.40 metres. It is lined in PVC with a travertine edge, fitted with internal lighting, and accessed via Roman steps. Its south-facing orientation ensures it is bathed in sunlight throughout the day, while the surrounding paved solarium is furnished with comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas. Two private cabins and an outdoor shower complete this exceptional poolside setting, all framed by a breathtaking panoramic view stretching toward the Pisan mountains.

Torre Angelina is a three-floor villa connected by 2 internal staircases, thoughtfully configured to accommodate up to 12 guests across 5 beautifully appointed bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. On the ground floor, a bright and fully equipped kitchen opens directly into the dining room, which is fitted with a Smart TV, and connects to a guest bathroom. This same level hosts 2 double bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. Also on the ground floor, within the tower section of the villa, is a cosy living area featuring a Smart TV and a fireplace. From this tower living area, a cypress-wood staircase, which is not suitable for seniors or children, ascends to a sitting room with a sofa bed and a bathroom with shower, continuing further to a panoramic double bedroom. A second staircase, accessible from the ground floor dining room, leads to the upper level where 2 additional bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms are located, each offering tasteful design and panoramic views. The swimming pool is open seasonally, from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.
