Originally an 19th century barn, this traditional Tuscan country house sits at 405 metres above sea level and was thoughtfully acquired and completely renovated by its current owner, who preserved the original character of the structure, including its distinctive window ventilation grilles and wooden ceiling beams, while introducing beautiful oak floors, air conditioning, and well-appointed living spaces. The property is enveloped by a generous garden of approximately 1,200 square metres, where olive trees, lavender bushes, and fragrant rosemary create a serene and picturesque setting. A private parking area is conveniently located in front of the house, accessible through a remote-controlled gate. Wireless internet connectivity is available throughout the property, ensuring guests remain connected during their stay. The non-heated swimming pool, lined in walnut-coloured travertine and surrounded by elegant paving, sunbeds, and lush greenery, completes this exceptional countryside retreat.
Outdoors
The outdoor spaces of Country House Lo Spigo are a true celebration of the Tuscan landscape. The usable garden area extends across 2 levels, covering approximately 700 square metres of lawn, lavender and rosemary bushes, lemon trees, and fruit trees, all framed by the unmistakable panorama of the Chianti hills dotted with ancient borghi and expanses of vineyards. In front of the main entrance, a paved patio leads to a beautiful jasmine-covered pergola, fully equipped with a comfortable seating area, a dining table, and a barbecue, making it an ideal space for outdoor meals and relaxed evenings. Adjacent to the pergola, a solarium area provides the perfect spot for sunbathing. A flight of steps from the patio descends to the lower lawn area, offering additional space for leisure and relaxation. The non-heated swimming pool measures 6 x 3.25 metres with a constant depth of 1.60 metres. It is lined in walnut-coloured travertine and features salt purification, steps for water access on one of the short sides, and an internal spotlight. Surrounding the pool, guests will find sunbeds, low tables, an umbrella, and a portable cold-water shower. The pool is also equipped with an isothermal bubble cover to help preserve water temperature during cooler periods. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October. Please be aware that the photographs of the property were taken in spring, and therefore the appearance of flowering plants and the colour of the garden grass may differ at the time of your arrival.

Guests have access to a fully equipped one-hectare private park, a dedicated parking area located just past the entrance gate to the property, and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the accommodation. The grounds of Villa Rinaldi are nothing short of extraordinary, extending across a fully fenced one-hectare park that wraps around the rear of the building and is framed along its perimeter by centuries-old oak trees and lush, refreshing woodland vegetation. The garden is a living tapestry of seasonal blooms and wild flora, including junipers, honeysuckles, strawberry trees, ferns, cyclamens, violets, hellebores, strawberries, and wild blackberries, all of which can be discovered simply by strolling around the property. A vegetable garden with seasonal vegetables and aromatic herbs is also available for guests to enjoy. Throughout the park, various seating areas equipped with chairs and tables invite relaxation and convivial gatherings, while a convenient outdoor dining area is positioned directly at the living room exit, creating a seamless flow between interior and exterior living. Please note that the photographs of the property were taken in spring, and therefore the blossoming of flowers and the colour of the garden grass may differ at the time of your arrival.
The non-heated swimming pool is set in the most private area of the property, on a lower terrace approximately 20 metres from the villa, reached via a few steps or along a dedicated path. Rectangular in shape and measuring 4 x 8 metres, with a depth ranging from 1.50 to 1.70 metres, the pool features submerged entry steps, a PVC lining, a stone-paved border, internal spotlights, salt-based water purification, and a waterproof cover for overnight use. The surrounding sunbathing area is furnished with a large umbrella, small tables, sofas, and sunbeds, as well as a cold-water shower. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.

The main entrance, located on the side of the building, opens into a refined hallway that leads to the right into a spacious living room featuring a study corner and direct access to the garden, and to the left into a well-appointed kitchen and dining room arranged in an open-plan layout. The sleeping area comprises 1 double bedroom with divisible beds and an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub, as well as 2 twin bedrooms with joinable beds, each served by an ensuite bathroom with a shower, for a total of 3 bathrooms. The interior is completed by a dedicated laundry room, ensuring all the practical comforts of a well-organised home.

Casa Rossa is a nice property consiting of 3 completely reovated units turned into 6 holiday apartments and a cottage. The holiday facility has maintained its original architectural structure and is located on the Chianti hills in panoramic position.
Every apartment has its independent entrance to guarantee privacy and peace to guests who stay there. A swimming pool is at guests' disposal as well as a wide garden to enjoy a beautiful panoramic view over the countryside of the Chianti Area.
At guests' disposal: equipped garden, swimming-pool (14 x 7 m - maximum depth 1,80 m) set in panoramic location, shared barbecue. WI-FI internet is available. A provincial road passes only a few metres from the villa for rent away. Parking within the grounds.
Distances: Certaldo with all kinds of shops and funicolar leading to the medieval walled town centre 4 km, the renowned medieval town of San Gimignano 11 km, Volterra 35 km, Firenze 35 km, Siena 40 km. A lake with sport-fishing facilities and a riding-stable are approx. 5 km from the property away.
