They date back to 1600 when there was a monastery here, and you can still admire an ancient little church inside the property. A few tens of metres from the villa is the 'Sentiero della Bonifica' (Land Reclamation Path), an interesting pedestrian-cycling route that connects Arezzo to Chiusi along the Canale Maestro della Chiana. The route is quite flat and therefore suitable for walks and cycling for the whole family. For nature lovers and birdwatchers, on the other hand, there is the Montepulciano Oasis just 10 minutes away.
It won't be difficult to make families with children or groups of friends happy in such a beautiful location, combining interesting day trips with relaxing days around the large private swimming pool (size m. 6x12, depth m. 1.00-1.60 - open from 01st May to 30th September) with solarium equipped with sun beds, tables, chairs and umbrellas. Also next to the swimming pool there are Jacuzzi and Sauna (available during the whole year included in the rental price).
Villa Poggio Falcone is immersed in a vast, completely fenced, park of centuries-old trees, where your dogs can run freely. At the bottom of the valley is the railway line that connects Chiusi with central Italy.
