Four charming apartments in a farmhouse (composed in total by 4 units) that was originally a watchtower during the war between the Florence and Siena republics. Today it is the guesthouse of a 16th century villa, where the property owners reside. The property is in a tranquil location at the center of a 12 hectare farm that produces wine and olive oil. At the same time it is just 350 m from the center of a small, charactaristic village where a bus can take you to Florence in just 20 minutes. Beautiful view of the countryside. Each apartment has its own large, private outdoor space, and the beautiful, enclosed, shared pool sits among olive trees, overlooking the country landscape (85 m from the house). Upon request, it is possible to visit the garden of the main villa, with its ancient interconnecting pools fed by a natural spring and age-old lemon trees. The apartments are furnished in simple, rustic style. Access to the property is via a 250 m unpaved but well-maintained road.

The pool is open seasonally from 1 May 2026 to 15 October 2026, subject to booking status and weather conditions, and is generously equipped with sun loungers and deck chairs for the ultimate relaxation experience. The main villa spans approximately 450 square metres and is distributed across 2 floors. On the ground floor, guests are welcomed by a spacious kitchen complete with a fireplace, a dedicated dining room also featuring a fireplace, and a large living room with a third fireplace, alongside a guest bathroom. Both the kitchen and the living room open directly onto the loggia with pergola. On the upper floor, the villa offers 2 double bedrooms, one of which is a generously proportioned master suite, each with its own private shower bathroom, as well as a study with a sofa bed. A sun terrace with an outdoor shower completes the upper level.
The dependance extends across approximately 250 square metres and is equally distributed across 2 floors. The ground floor features a large living room with a fireplace, 1 double bedroom, and 1 bathroom with a shower that is fully accessible for guests with disabilities. The upper floor accommodates 4 double bedrooms, one of which includes a private shower bathroom, 1 bedroom with bunk beds, and 2 further bathrooms with showers. The interiors of both buildings have been finely restored and tastefully furnished in a sober and elegant style, showcasing exceptional attention to detail and the use of prestigious materials including terracotta floors, coffered ceilings, marble kitchens and bathrooms, monumental pietra serena stone fireplaces, and a travertine balcony from Pienza.

Mulino al Suono is composed of three flats on staggered levels that are not communicating with each other, however the large spaces allow the group to gather for lunches, dinners.
The first two flats are in the old Mill dating back to 1100. While the New Mill (the one that still contains the millstones) dates back to 1800.
After arriving you’ll find a beautiful clean well-maintained property with views of the hills perfect for a peaceful holiday in Tuscany. For your pleasure you will find a private pool where you can unwind while enjoying a nice cold beverage after a busy day of visiting museums.
