Villa Irene is located in a panoramic position on the hills near Montecarlo di Lucca, a small medieval village located between Lucca and Montecatini Terme. Surrounded by large land with meadows, olive trees and vineyards, the villa enjoys an open view of the Val di Nievole and offers various outdoor areas equipped for outdoor dining, a panoramic terrace, a private pool and a children's pool. The interiors, decorated in a traditional rustic style, include large living and dining areas, as well as three double bedrooms. The villa is well located for day trips to Florence, Pisa and the beaches of Versilia. Note: the owners reside discreetly in the basement of the villa; garden and pool are for the exclusive use of guests.

The villa is distributed on two floors. GROUND FLOOR — Entrance from the porch into the living area with TV corner and sofas; kitchen; dining room with access to the panoramic terrace; laundry room; bathroom with shower. FIRST FLOOR — Double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower and jacuzzi; two double bedrooms; bathroom with tub. Air conditioning in the rooms.
Park:
The garden includes a lawn area bordered by olive, cypress and fruit trees, with flower beds of aromatic herbs and seasonal flowers. An outdoor dining and relaxation area is located on the paved terrace in front of the house, with barbecue and covered dining space next to the kitchen. The pool is located in a more secluded part of the garden, accessible by going down a few steps. Parking is available inside the fenced property, near the entrance. N.B.: Please note that photo shoots are usually carried out in spring, so the colors and blooms of the gardens, lawns and parks may be different when you enter the villa.
Pool:
The pool is located about 40 meters from the villa, accessible via two short flights of stairs. Rectangular in shape, it measures 12 x 6 m with a depth varying from 1.20 to 2.20 m; it is covered in light blue PVC and equipped with a hydromassage area and a Roman staircase for access. Next to it is a children's pool, also rectangular, measuring 12 x 1 m with a depth of 65 cm. The solarium, paved in terracotta, is equipped with sun loungers and a gazebo with table and chairs. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.

Adjacent to the main entrance, a generous outdoor living area shaded by large umbrellas is divided into 2 distinct zones: one dedicated to al fresco dining, where guests can enjoy breakfasts and lunches at a spacious table surrounded by the scents of the vineyards, and one arranged as a comfortable outdoor sitting area for relaxation. A mobile barbecue is also available in this area, perfect for organizing convivial gatherings in a setting of absolute tranquility. For younger guests, a ping-pong table is available near the pool alongside the wide lawn, which is ideal for outdoor games. The swimming pool, positioned at the front of the villa approximately 25 meters from the entrance and accessible through the rectangular square in front, measures 7 m x 13 m with a depth ranging from 1 m to 2.40 m. It is a non-heated pool, elegantly lined with blue mosaic in the style of Roman baths, and features 2 internal Roman staircases for easy entry, 3 hydromassage stations, and internal lighting. The teak wood solarium surrounding the pool is equipped with comfortable sun loungers shaded by 3 umbrellas and a hot shower for guests' convenience. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October. Please be aware that the 2 side wings of the villa are occupied by the owners, who are described as very discreet and respectful of guests' privacy; however, the garden and pool are reserved for the exclusive use of guests.

Villa Saida is built respecting the traditions of Tuscany, using materials available in the area, like wooden beams and rafters handcrafted on local walnut. Also materials for roof and floor are handmade in Tuscany. Certainly modernity is not forgotten. The value of the structure does not derive only from the high quality of the materials and from many comforts, but also from its location: in fact, on an area from where we can enjoy an unique view of the Alpi Apuane (the marble mountains), the Rocca Ariostesca in the centre of Castelnuovo, reachable walking on a shaded road, the Monte Alfonso and its fortress (that is part of the natural park of the Alpi Apuane) and finally the Appennino. In the river Serchio Valley we can see the Villetta bridge, one of the highest rail bridge of Italy. On the left we can admire the Pania della Croce, while on the right the beautiful "Pania di Corfino", a rocky group on which there is the Orecchiella Park, and at the far end the pass of the Radici inside the Appennino Park that, when snowy in winter, is a incredible sight. The area offers the possibility to practise many sports (trekking, golf, mountain bike, horse riding, in addition of the near tennis courts and soccer fields). Also other outdoor activities are available for a complete relaxation.
A little farer than twenty kilometres there are the Bagni di Lucca baths, already famous at the roman age, where there are particular kind of warm and healthy waters and mud. Many Tuscan tourist resorts are easily reachable: art and historic towns like Lucca, Pisa, Firenze are close to the Villa. Less than an hour is needed to reach the Versilia seaside, while in winter there are many locations where we can go skiing (Careggine, Casone di Profecchia, Abetone, Radici e Val di Luce).
PARK: The Villa lies in a wonderful garden of about 4.066 square yards, confines with the wood at one side and has a fence all around with an entrance equipped by an automated gate and divided in two: one for cars and a second for persons.

The pool, from where you can see a wonderful sight, is 14 X 6 meters and constantly deep 1,50 meter .+ Hydro massage area of 90 cm. depth. about. There are four positions for water message and is equipped by garden furniture like easy chairs and beds for sun baths.

DISTANCES: the center of Castelnuovo Garfagnana is about 800 mt far and can be reached on foot very easily.
The OWNER lives about 2 km from the villa, so he is available for any need of the renters. The villa offers a very good privacy; only when cleanings of the pool, and garden maintainance are necessary, the owner can come to the villa, but he is glad to arrange this with the renters in advance, and come when they prefer.
