The Mostra Internazionale dell'Artigianato is one of the most famous Trade Fairs in Italy. Every year you can see the handcrafted products of the ancient Florentine Workshops and see some of the fantastic arts that are being rediscovered by this fair.

In Florence there is a folk tradition at Easter called the Scoppio del Carro (Explosion of the Cart) where a cart, packed full of fireworks and other forms of pyrotechnics, is lit on Easter Sunday in the Piazza del Duomo.
