The beautiful coastal village of Castiglione della Pescaia is an ancient medieval town, about 20 km from Grosseto. It lies between blue sea and green hills and mountains.

The walled city developed around a medieval fortress, and is easily accessible via road and train. It is a popular tourist destination that is located on a hill around river Bruna. The city is known for picturesque beaches and clean sea. The scenic mountains and hilltops offer beautiful views of sunrise and sunset.

Do you like the idea of driving through the Tuscan countryside, looking at all of the ancient architecture and ruins that are left behind from hundreds of years ago?

If so, then one of the most spectacular bridges is the Ponte Della Maddalena, more commonly known as the Devil's Bridge. It was first built in the 12th century and it is one of the most fantastic examples of medieval engineering that there is.

In Tuscany Italy, in the Provence of Grosseto there is an area called Monte Argentario. It is an entirely mountanous area known more commonly as a promontory.

It is the site of some historical structures such as the Tower of the Maddalena and the Tower of the Cannelle and you can walk some of the fabulous routes and spend the day seeing the sights and admiring the wonderful panoramic views of the coast.
