When planning a holiday and looking for a vacation rental in Tuscany, there are many elements to keep in mind while choosing: location, price, number of occupants, special features, etc. However, for some, the interiors are just as important. In order to set the mood, there is nothing quite like making a base out of a home far neater and carefully planned than most of us live in on a daily basis. For the duration of your holiday, you can indulge in the experience of living in the kind of perfectly designed super homes that so few of us actually ever manage to obtain. Here are just some of our wonderful vacation rentals in Tuscany with incredible interiors that would be ideal for vicarious dwelling.

5. La Campanina

Continuing on from our previous post, here are more of the most beautifully decorated villas that we have to offer in Tuscany. These vacation rentals in Tuscany are not only well-located and well-equipped for ensuring you have a wonderful holiday, they also have incredible interiors that will make your temporary home away from home so inviting that you'll barely want to leave the house at all!

3. Montoro

Montoro is a lovely villa that was built in the second half of the 19th century, and has been completely renovated. The views from the property are like a picture of typical Chianti landscape, rich with gently rolling hills covered with vineyards and olive groves. Within the well-maintained fenced garden with trees and flower beds, there is a swimming pool, surrounded by a terrace. The interior of the house is furnished with comfortable, traditional furniture, antiques and yet features a very well-equipped kitchen and modern bathrooms.
Pan di Ramerino

“Pan di Ramerino” or rosemary bread is a soft and sweet traditional bread made of dough, raisins and rosemary. Somewhat similar to hot-cross buns in composition, they are also traditionally associated with Easter and are usually eaten on Holy Thursday. On this day, in particular, and around the Easter period, you will find bakeries selling the bread, after having it blessed in nearby churches, all across Florence and Tuscany. Just find a luxury villa near Florence and try it in person for yourself, or if you fancy trying out baking a different snack, why not use the following recipe and give it a go at home? Then, as you enjoy this Tuscan delicacy, you can map out your trip.

The setting of any vacation is important and not just the destination, but the accommodation, as well. For some people, this merely means that a rental will have all of the basic facilities they require – whether that is closeness to a city centre or beach, the correct number of rooms, a private pool, parking or other special features – but, for others, the design is equally important. For setting the tone of your holiday, enjoying organisation and neatness that may be far from your daily life, living in a property unlike anything you can access permanently or for making others jealous, the décor of a rental can be very important.

Luckily, Tuscany Villas boasts some rather breathtaking properties in ideal locations, with excellent facilities and with, often, prize-winning interiors. Here are some of our vacation rentals in Tuscany with beautiful interiors.

Continuing on from our last post, here are some more of Tuscany's best cakes that are a must-try for foodies visiting the region. While the cakes that we last discussed are all more dessert-like sweet treats, there is also a tradition of cakes in Tuscany that can be served as side-dishes or as main courses and at a variety of times of day and meals.

4. Chard Cake

One of these is the Chard Cake, or "Torta d'Erbe", that comes from the area of Massa Carrara. It is a typical salted cake that can be served either as side dish or as main course and is made of wheat flour, chard leaves, eggs, breadcrumbs, ricotta cheese, Pecorino cheese, olive oil, salt and pepper. Tasty and attractively amber coloured, it is a welcome addition to any table and is a must for all those foodies that have found a holiday rental in the Massa Carrara and are planning a holiday there.
