Wir waren 1 Woche bei Ivan und seiner Familie. Wir waren schon in vielen Ferienwohnungen in der Toskana. Noch nie sind wir so herzlich empfangen und gehostet worden wie hier. Die Einrichtung ist toskanatypisch hochwertig und die Küche umfangreich und vollständig ausgestattet.
Alles picobello sauber und das Grundstück von der Famillie sehr gepflegt. Toller Pool mit kleinem Sprungbrett. Ideal für Familie. Es gibt ein kleines Nebengebäude zur separaten Miete, das sehr modern und fein hergerichtet wurde. Die überaus freundlichen Eigentümer machten unseren Urlaub zu einem besonders schönen, und das bei nicht idealem Wetter. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen. Grazie Mille Domenica, Giovanni und Ivan.

Das Haus ist eine Reise in die Vergangenheit und wurde wunderbar renoviert. Die Lage und die Aussicht sind wunderschön und für Naturliebhaber und Menschen, die absolute Ruhe suchen, perfekt. Die Küche ist sehr schlicht und nicht unbedingt geeignet für Leute, die sich kochend ausleben wollen. Ebenso ist die Ausstattung schlicht und funktional. Einige Möbel sind alt und sehr charmant. Das Restaurant in Pieve san Giovanni kann man zu Fuß erreichen, was aber ein längerer Spaziergang ist. Dafür war das Essen dort super. Achtung : es gibt Tage, an denen geschlossen ist und man sollte reservieren.
Super zum Wandern oder Mountainbiken. Wenn das Wetter schlecht ist, ist das Haus ziemlich kalt ( aber das ist klar bei einem Steinhaus????????♀️). Für Einkäufe etc. Brauch man immer das Auto , da es keine Geschäfte in naher Umgebung gibt. Bei Bedarf haben wir uns Maulbeeren, Rosmarin und Salbei frisch aus dem Garten geholt und in der Küche haben wir mit dem alten Herd ( wie bei meiner Oma in der Küche) mit Feuer geheizt. Den offenen Kamin konnte man nicht benutzen. Wir waren In der vorletzten Maiwoche da und hatten leider sehr durchwachsenes Wetter. Der Vermieter war jederzeit erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Alles lief sehr reibungslos und unkompliziert.

Ik kan niets kiezen tussen goed en slecht in, dus wordt het toch slecht. Reden waarom ik dit huis niet zou aanraden is omdat het zo afgelegen ligt en zo moeilijk bereikbaar (het laatste stuk weg is ontzettend steil en smal en meer geschikt als voetpad dan als weg). Mijn man die toch echt een goede chauffeur is wilde het terrein liever helemaal niet meer af voor we weg gingen, zo ongemakkelijk vond hij het. Verder is er in de tekst van de website sprake van een tuin, maar hoewel er op de scheiding struiken staan, zijn er verder alleen maar tegels, grint en teer. Het enige uitzicht op de heuvels was in ons geval vanuit de keuken, verder was er nauwelijks uitzicht. In tegenstelling tot andere woningen die we huurden in Toscane moesten we hier 0,26KwH betalen (en dat loopt ook in een paar dagen zonder extreem stroomverbruik en maar met twee personen al snel op) en rekenen ze hier apart voor de eindschoonmaak een bedrag van 90,00. Dat zijn samen forse kosten boven op de huur.
We had a wonderful 8 days at this property. The rooms were clean and very up to date, the pool was just the right size. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating. Could not fault our stay. Thank you.

Stayed there for a week with friends for a 40th birthday. Exceeded every expectation / dream I had. The villa was spacious and superb. You cannot beat the scenery and sunsets from the pool. Dinners at the vineyard and the wine tasting id definitely a must. I hope to be back next year

Wat was het hier een fantastische kennismaking met Toscane. Het uitzicht naar alle kanten is fantastisch mooi, je kunt heerlijk ver kijken. De eigenaar is heel vriendelijk en het huis was helemaal prima. Alle ruimtes lekker ruim. Niet erg licht binnen, maar gezien de regelmatige warmte hier is dat ook niet zo gek. Alle ramen konden ook afgesloten worden met luiken zodat het binnen lekker koel blijft. Ook bij het zwembad is het heerlijk toeven door ligstoelen en parasols.

I had planned a celebration with 10 friends and family coming from all over the US to Tuscany, so I was understandably anxious about everything going well at a place I'd never seen. All my dreams came true, as not only was the location as described and pictured in the Vrbo listing, the property owner could not have done a better job. The reality exceeded the pictures and the location (5 min drive from Cortona as well as the Camucia-Cortona train station, which came in really handy) turned out to be perfect. I could go on for days about how happy I was with this property - suffice to say that if you are planning a large group gathering in Tuscany, you will NOT be disappointed with Il Sole del Sodo!!

Une vue splendide sur la montagne toscane, une maison typique pleine de charme, spacieuse et très bien équipée dans un charmant village. On n’entend que le chant des oiseaux. Grande piscine aménagée avec une cuisine d’été très pratique car se trouve en contrebas de la maison. L’accès peut être difficile pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. Un séjour formidable et des hôtes très accueillants et disponibles tout en restant discrets qui habitent la maison d’en face. Juste une suggestion: il serait utile à l’arrivée de trouver quelques éléments de base (un peu d’huile, vinaigre, café…) car il n’y a pas de commerce dans le village. Voiture indispensable.
