Our family of 4 loved our stay in Orfeo this September. A car is virtually essential to stay here, which we hadn't realised initially, although our host Pino generously offered to drive us to the supermarket when we arrived by taxi. He also made a couple of good restaurant suggestions on the nights we didn't cook and we particularly loved "Le Corte". Additionally, we needed a doctor appointment unexpectedly & Pino was extremely helpful. The property is secluded and quiet, offering a wonderful pool and beautiful gardens. Orfeo was well-equipped, everything worked and the beds were fabulous. Beware of the mosquitoes as not all windows or doors have screens. We enjoyed several daytrips, with Cinque Terre about 1 hour away & Pisa even closer. The village of Volterra was fabulous, and of course Lucca itself is sublime. We highly recommend this property & wish we could have stayed much longer than a week. Our only gripe is the extra payment for cleaning. We feel the price should be all-inclusive.

The views could not be better - a stunning series of mountains and ridges with farms in the lower foothills. We were delighted at all hours while sitting on our deck and looking over the panorama. The apt. was well furnished and appointed, obviously recently renovated. We would have liked screens in the windows or available mosquito netting to control the relatively few but persistent mosquitoes we were bothered by at night. Otherwise a complete delight.

Very nice, a cottage right in the middle of the vineyards and olive trees. The employees are very helpfull and friendly. The restaurant is worth a recommandation. It's a perfect location to visit cities like Siena, Pisa and Firenze from here.

Beautiful place and house - Vasco made us feel very at ease and he is so friendly. The house is superb, ideal place in the country with view on fields, trees between vines and olive trees. A perfect place to relax by the pool with the sound of nature. We truly enjoyed our stay and will look forward to our next visit. Kat C, windsor UK

Villa Corte Delle Stelle is a perfect place to fill the spirit of Tuscany. It is very well equipped, very clean and functional, with great view, perfect bedroom on upper floor and good surroundings like village of Foiano where you can buy Italian prosciutto, vegetables, wine. Near Cortona which is nice and misterious, which has some good restaurants. Villa is worth that money. We have spent a week with our friends there and we recommend this place for sure. Owners are very nice and kind, we could count on them. The property is kept clean and tidy by a very nice lady who lives in the house near to villa. Thank you all for the great week we spent there.

Villa liegt sehr nah an Florenz dran. Eigentümerin hat Hunde. Es ist also ratsam, den eigenen Hund zuhause zu lassen. Angstellte sind sehr nett und lassen keine Wünsche offen. Umgebung sehr schön, nur die Autobahn ist je nach Windrichtung etwas laut.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] The villa is very close to Florence. Owner has dogs. It is therefore advisable to have your own dog at home. The staff is very kind and leaves nothing to be desired. Very nice environment, only the highway can be a little noisy depending on wind direction.

Cet "agriturismo" est particulièrement bien situé pour visiter le Val d'Orcia. Depuis la propriété on a une vue magnifique sur les "crete sienese". L'endroit est calme, bien entretenu et l'accueil simple et chaleureux.
