Very well equipped villa. Quiet location for privacy but convenient for day trips. We visited Rome (long day!), Florence, Sienna on one day trips. Lots of room for our party of 10 people. Villa and grounds were well-cared for and the owner was very helpful. All in all, great experience and we would stay again. The only suggestion we have is better directions. The villa is very tough to find with a small sign. A GPS address or co-ordinate would be very helpful. Thankfully the owner was able to meet us to guide owner.

We had a wonderful Tuscan family holiday at villa elisa. we felt like we were really immeted in tuscan life with 3 generations of our family dining on long tables in the beautiful gardens each evening. The view from the pool of historic Cortona is magnificent. The local food and wine is delicious and the Italians warm and welcoming.

This property could not have been any better. The villa, the amenities and the property owner were all wonderful. We had 4 families staying at this property. Eight children total and with all the outdoor amenities we were never indoors. With the tables on the covered patio and outside, we only slept in the villa. And the sleeping arrangements were very accomodating. We were greeted with food and a thorough walk through of the property. Every detail was handled professionally. Only areas to think about are, 1. The upstairs bedrooms in the middle of the summer are warm. Sleeping with windows open is good, but bugs find their way in. 2. If you plan to do many side trips to the larger Tuscan towns, be prepared to drive. If you like the quiet, the town of Civitella is magnificent. And they have the best gelato we found anywhere. The place is really awesome in middle of nature. Since it is a bit uphill, there is a great view on the valley and also the climate is really nice, even when it is very hot. The rooms are very authentic, just like the whole property. Everything really clean and nice, including the swimming pool. Tenants are very nice and interesting people. The town of Castiglion Fiorentino is very typical without being touristically, while Firenze is close by train and other nice places in Tuscany in 1hr reach. Would recommend it to anybody (with a car).

Beautiful old home! Everyone enjoyed the pool since the weather was so hot! Even the doves came by for a drink!We never used the dining room since eating out side was so nice. A small microwave oven would have been helpful in the kitchen.Perhaps having a hairdryer available would have helped. The downstairs bathroom shower leakes. We especially enjoyed the Thursday Market in the town, and it was a very walkable town. Sweet little town of Camucia and Cortona was beautiful, we also loved the beautiful fields of sunflowers.
