Macennere is a lovely and charming stone-built farmhouse with a private swimming pool located in a very secluded and tranquil position in the hills of Lucca ideal for clients looking to have complete privacy during their holiday.
The area, Forci, is one of the most beautiful in all the Lucca countryside. Despite its quiet location, the property is also just 15 minutes by car from the centre of Lucca with its many attractions, restaurants, shops and the stunning city walls where to take a walk. From the house and the garden, surrounded by olive groves and fruit trees, there are wonderful views over the countryside, from the Apuan Alps down to the plain of Lucca.
The house has been restored and very tastefully furnished by a interior decorator for the use of his family and is now available for rent when they are not in residence. The owner mixed authentic Tuscan materials, such as antique cotto floors and beamed ceilings, and furnished it in a very attractive rustic, yet elegant style.
