Mulino al Suono is composed of three flats on staggered levels that are not communicating with each other, however the large spaces allow the group to gather for lunches, dinners.
The first two flats are in the old Mill dating back to 1100. While the New Mill (the one that still contains the millstones) dates back to 1800.
Upon arrival you’ll find a lovely clean well-maintained property with views of the hills ideal for a relaxing holiday in Tuscany. Villa Gioiosa is an old stone house that once belonged to the nearby Benedictine monastery and was used by the monks as a chestnut dryer, of which the surrounding woods are rich. Today the house has been completely restored, maintaining the characteristics of the old Tuscan farmhouse, both in the architectural features and in the furnishings, enriched with local antiques.
A few kilometres away is the village of Monte San Savino, famous for its ceramics and its beautiful alleyways and buildings, offering shops, supermarkets, restaurants and services of all kinds.
