Villa Bastiano is an amazing ancient property built back on 1400, completely restored by keeping the original external walls. Located in Monsummano Alto, an old hamlet just above Monsumano Terme, on a top of a hill dominating the surrounding valley, the hamlet was protected by the ancient walls which still remain part of them, here we can find the ancient tower and the beautiful church of San Niccolao, being 34o meters above the sea level it offers an amazing view of the valley below with Val di Nievole and other provinces of Tuscany.
Half way between Lucca and Florence, perfect starting point for a day trips, guest can easily reach the Tuscan coast in less than one hour, and with one hour and half can be in the Cinque Terre as well!
The villa’s private garden gives to its guest different angles of true paradise where to relax and enjoy amazing views. A paved area with a gazebo equipped with table and iron chairs is the perfect spot for al fresco dinners. There is also a private pool, (above ground), and a solarium with a Jacuzzi hot tab both equipped with umbrellas and sun lounges.
The villa on its inside is equipped with modern style furniture, perfectly mixed with the ancients of the property in order to offer its guest the maximum of comfort. It develops in two floors, at the ground there is a living area with armchairs and sofas, dining area with a wooden table and chair, fully equipped kitchen which has direct access to the garden.
On the first floor there are the 5 bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms with shower, one of the bedrooms is connected to a small room with two extra single beds.
