Our famiy had a wonderfull time in Fattoria Di Romngnano . The villa is beautifull , well maintained with plenty of rooms and bathrooms for all 18 of us.Location is great , close to all of Tuscany's main cities and attractions. After some grocery shopping at the near by village of san giustino valdarno, we cooked in the lovely equiped kitchen,and one night had a delicious dinner at the Fattoia's restuarant - great tuscan food and wonderfull atmosphere.
there is a nice swimming pool which the kids loved (despite the rather cold temps..they just couldn't resist the temptation.. ).Ricardo the owner,and Helnia the housekeeper, do everything to make you feel at home ! if your are looking for a place to spend a relaxed family/friends gathering - this is a great location to do so. Wonderful pool, outside spaces extensive with lovely views. Spacious inside. Ideal for 2 couples or 4 person family. Kitchen could do with some modernisation and better utensils. Beds averagely comfy. TV/DVD average. Access road to property is heart in mouth experience. Landscape is worth it though. Wireless works well. 20 minutes drive to heart of Lucca.

We did not want to leave after 4 days. This place is a bit off the beaten path so you really get the feel of what it is to live in Tuscany under the Tuscan sun and live the slow life for a few days. Adriano and his wife Franca and their daughter Constanza are very special people. We met a retired couple who come back here every year and they have travelled all over Italy.
