Assisi town

The Calendimaggio festival is a spectacular three day event that takes place in the pilgrimage town of Assisi just outside of Tuscany in the neighbouring region of Umbria!

Locals dress up in fancy costumes in the weekend following the 1st of May and the town’s two main districts, the upper side and the lower side compete against each other in a variety of fun challenges.
