If you're one of them and have finally decided on a vacation rental in Tuscany, you'll next need to begin planning your trip and, importantly, where and what you're going to eat! We have plenty of articles on typical products, foodie experiences, wineries, tours, classes and restaurants but it is always best to hear these things directly from the locals. To help you out, we have rounded up a list of some of the best and most informative food bloggers in Tuscany.

Here are more of our favourite food bloggers in Tuscany but be sure to read our previous posts for more of our picks as well.

3. Curious Appetite

Curious Appetite is Coral Sisk, an American food blogger of Italian and Persian heritage from Seattle. Obsessed with Italian food, wine and culture, she began her blog as a platform to practice food criticism, largely focusing on Italian restaurants in her hometown of Seattle. She then took the plunge and moved to Florence in 2012 and began writing about restaurants in Florence and posting recipes. Coral now runs tasting tours and cooking classes in Florence, in addition to writing for her blog and the likes of Eater, Vice Munchies, Vogue Magazine, Conde Nast and more. While her blog is great (with excellent articles like “Where To Eat On The Cheap & Budget Dining In Florence, Italy”), it is her bespoke line of tasting tours for which she is famous. Book yourself on one if you have found a vacation rental in the Florence area and want the full foodie experience of the city.

4. Divina Cucina

Judy Witts Francini is a Californian who has lived in Florence since 1984. She began classes for local students in the study abroad programs in the city in 1988, working with Syracuse University before beginning to also work with other language schools. In 1997, she began her first website, MangiaFirenze, offering Market to Table classes with Divina Cucina later created to expand on the Market to Table program and offer full week programs exploring the area and actually meeting and cooking with local artisans, chefs, and cooks on farms. Today, the site has expanded and become a treasure trove of recipes and Judy has also taken to posting videos of demonstrations on her Youtube channel, has a cookbook of her own and an app and still offers classes as well as tours and tastings. A seasoned teacher and expert on the foodie scene in Florence, her classes and tours are a must!
