The Biblioteca delle Oblate is a haven for lovers of book reading! This is a definite place to visit on your next vacation to Florence; the smell of books alone makes you happy. It contains over 18,000 books and documents spread across three floors.

There are plenty of reading areas to enjoy and a café upstairs with stunning views of the famous dome of Florence Cathedral.

Visit the Bargello museum, a small and welcoming little place located on Via del Proconsolo. It showcases many of the earlier works by Master Renaissance sculptors Michelangelo and Donatello.

This is the oldest public building in all of Florence and once upon a time it was actually a prison!
