Property Summary
Nestled in the rolling hills of San Venanzo, in the heart of Umbria, Italy, Podere Pomasciano is an extraordinary vacation rental that invites you to step into a world where history, nature, and refined rural elegance converge. Renovated in 2013 with exceptional taste, this centuries-old farmhouse retains all the authenticity of its origins, featuring exposed-stone façades, wooden-beamed ceilings, and terracotta floors crafted in the estate's own historic kiln. The property sits in a dominant and strategic position overlooking an unspoilt countryside that stretches as far as the eye can see, surrounded by approximately 250 hectares of cultivated fields, olive groves, and woodland. Guests have access to a beautifully maintained fenced yard of 5,000 square meters, lush with Mediterranean plants, seasonal blooms, and a celebrated collection of David Austin English roses that flower from April to December. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, keeping you connected while you enjoy the tranquility of the Umbrian landscape. A dedicated parking area is located in a wooded section just a few metres from the house, offering 7 uncovered spaces for your convenience. The magical atmosphere of Podere Pomasciano is inseparable from the rich history and legend that permeate these lands, from the ancient Etruscan civilization that once used this farmhouse as a staging post between Perugia and Orvieto, to the 16th-century apparition of the Virgin Mary to a young girl named Agatha, which gave rise to the nearby Shrine of the Madonna degli Ulivi. The Corneli family, current owners since 1700, has devotedly cultivated these fertile lands for over two centuries, producing wine, oil, soups, and preservative-free sauces in their own organically certified laboratory.
Outdoors
The outdoor spaces at Podere Pomasciano are nothing short of spectacular, offering a seamless blend of natural beauty, historical charm, and thoughtfully arranged areas for relaxation and alfresco dining. The newly built swimming pool occupies a panoramic position just 20 metres from the house, measuring 12 x 5 metres with a depth ranging from 1.20 to 1.50 metres. Lined in blue PVC with chlorine purification, the pool features Roman steps in one corner for easy water access, as well as both internal and external lighting. The surrounding terracotta-paved solarium area is equipped with sunbeds, deckchairs, tables, umbrellas, a gazebo, and a changing room accessible down 2 steps. An outdoor hot and cold-water shower completes the pool area. Please note that the pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday of October. Not far from the pool, an ornamental pond with phytopurifying water plants, including lotus flowers, iris, mint, papyrus, calla lilies, and horsetails, creates a serene natural setting populated by dragonflies and frogs that enliven the summer evenings. Around the house, several comfortable outdoor living areas invite you to linger and enjoy the scenery. The shady panoramic terrace, connected directly to the living room, is furnished with a table, chairs, and sofas, offering sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. The vine-covered pergola adjacent to the kitchen is equipped with a table, chairs, a wood stove, and a barbecue, making it an ideal setting for outdoor meals. A further pergola at the rear of the house provides a more intimate retreat, furnished with a sofa and armchairs. The large garden is entirely at your disposal, allowing you to stroll among beds of herbs and seasonal vegetables and discover the agricultural tools used by farmworkers in centuries past.

Description
Property Summary
Nestled in the serene Umbrian countryside of San Venanzo, Italy, Villa Dalmanuta is a beautifully restored farmhouse that offers an exceptional vacation rental experience for those seeking tranquility, natural beauty, and refined comfort. The property takes its name from the ancient biblical city of Dalmanutha, mentioned in the Gospel of Mark as the place where Jesus and his disciples rested after feeding the four thousand. Inspired by this story of renewal, the owners envisioned Dalmanuta as a sanctuary where the relentless pace of everyday life fades away, replaced by silence, nature, and a deep sense of harmony. Originally an old farmhouse, the villa has been thoughtfully renovated and expanded, preserving its authentic character through the use of local natural materials such as terracotta floors, travertine bathroom walls, and solid wooden ceiling beams. The interiors are decorated with an elegant yet understated aesthetic, where carefully chosen furnishings and a refined colour palette create an intimate and welcoming atmosphere without overwhelming the space. The property is set within a magnificent park of 8,000 square metres, where an impressive infinity pool invites long, relaxing moments with sweeping views over the surrounding landscape. A lush yard surrounds the villa, thoughtfully landscaped across two terraced levels and filled with olive trees, maples, oaks, cypresses, and flowering herbs. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and a convenient open-air parking area is located just inside the automatic iron gate, with the option to drive directly up to the house along a paved ramp.
Outdoors
The grounds of Dalmanuta are a true celebration of the Umbrian landscape, extending across 8,000 square metres of carefully maintained parkland, of which approximately 6,000 are planted with olive trees. The remaining area forms a luxuriant garden that follows the natural slope of the terrain, distributed across 2 distinct terraced levels connected by elegant brick stairways. Stone walls and hedges define the various zones, which are enlivened by maples, oaks, cypresses, roses, broom, and flowering herbs, all beautifully illuminated at night. Please be aware that the photographs of the property were taken in spring, meaning that the blossoming of flowers and the colour of the garden grass may differ from what you will find upon your arrival at the villa. The upper terrace hosts the parking area and the spectacular infinity pool, while the house sits gracefully on the lower level. The non-heated infinity pool is rectangular in shape, measuring 6 x 12 metres, with a depth ranging from 1.30 metres to 2.30 metres. It features chlorine purification and PVC lining, with access to the water via Roman steps arranged in an original fan shape in one of the corners. The pool is equipped with internal lighting and is open all year round. Surrounding the pool is a generous 100-square-metre solarium area, paved in terracotta and furnished with sunbeds, deckchairs, and a large umbrella, as well as a hot outdoor shower. The garden also features 2 covered porches, one connected to the kitchen and one opening from both the dining room and the living room, where you can enjoy alfresco meals and take in the wild, rural scenery of the Umbrian countryside stretching as far as the eye can see. A wood oven under one of the porches adds a charming touch for outdoor dining experiences.
Unit Layout
Dalmanuta accommodates up to 8 guests across 4 beautifully appointed bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, distributed over 2 floors connected internally by a terracotta staircase. On the ground floor, the main entrance leads into the dining room, which opens directly onto one of the two porches. The ground floor further includes a double bedroom with direct access to the garden, served by a bathroom with shower. A storage room housing the washing machine completes this level. The first floor is home to 3 additional bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. The first is a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom featuring a bathtub. The second is a double bedroom with a divisible bed and an ensuite bathroom with shower. The third is a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with shower. All 4 bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning, ensuring comfort throughout your stay regardless of the season.

The property is also equipped with heating, ensuring warmth and cosiness during cooler months. In the kitchen, a dishwasher makes meal preparation and clean-up effortless, while a washing machine located in the dedicated storage room on the ground floor ensures that laundry needs are easily managed throughout your stay. For entertainment, the property offers satellite TV, providing access to a wide selection of channels. Connectivity is ensured through Wi-Fi internet access available throughout the property. You can also enjoy table tennis, billiards, or foosball for some friendly competition. Children can play in the children's playground next to the swimming pool. After dinner in the gazebo next to the pool you will be delighted by the sunsets, which offer different lights and colours every day.
You will certainly not be inclined to leave the house, but as there are beautiful towns and cities rich in art nearby, we would advise you not to miss the opportunity to visit them. Torrita di Siena, Montepulciano and Pienza are all within a maximum of 20 km, Siena is 50 km away.
The last part of the road to Casa Bella (about 3 km) is not asphalted and has a few steep stretches, but don't let this scare you because after the first time you will not have difficulties, and you will look forward to returning home to enjoy the tranquility and your favourite view. Casa Bella

Description
Property Summary
Nestled in the rolling hills of Tuscany, Le Macine is a beautifully restored farmhouse vacation rental that offers an authentic Italian countryside experience in the charming town of Castel del Piano, Italy. Originally dating to the beginning of the 20th century, the property was meticulously renovated by its owners in 2011 using traditional materials that honour its historic character, including Barberino stone walls, terracotta floors, open-face beams, and travertine finishes in the bathrooms. The name Le Macine is itself a tribute to the property's heritage, derived from the 2 antique millstones of an old oil mill that line the entrance drive. The farmhouse enjoys a splendid panoramic view of the surrounding Tuscan hills and valleys, creating a setting of rare natural beauty. The fenced-in property extends over approximately 1 hectare of land and offers ample private outdoor space, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking tranquillity and authenticity. Guests benefit from private parking on site, a generous yard spanning two terraced levels planted with lawn, cypresses, and olive trees, and reliable Internet Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the stay.
Outdoors
The outdoor spaces of Le Macine are as impressive as the interiors, offering a seamless connection between the house and the surrounding Tuscan landscape. The panoramic portico serves as the heart of outdoor living, equipped with a hammock, table, and chairs, making it the ideal spot for al fresco dining while taking in the breathtaking views of the countryside. The kitchen also provides direct access to the portico, further enhancing the flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. Between the house and the swimming pool, guests will find a large brickwork barbecue, perfect for leisurely evenings under the open sky. The non-heated swimming pool is set approximately 10 metres from the house in a panoramic position and is accessible via 5 terracotta steps descending from the house side, as well as 5 stone steps and a small ramp in lava stone. The pool measures 7 x 10 metres with a constant depth of 1.40 metres and features large entry steps, a sand-coloured PVC lining, and chlorine purification. The pool border is finished in stone, while the surrounding solarium area is paved in terracotta. Sun beds, a sun umbrella, and a cold-water shower are all available for guests' use. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October. Please note that photographs of the property were taken in spring, meaning that flower blossoming and the colours of the garden grass may differ from what you observe upon arrival.
Unit Layout
Le Macine accommodates up to 6 guests across 3 well-appointed bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, distributed over 2 floors of the farmhouse. The main entrance, located beneath the panoramic portico, opens directly into a welcoming living room featuring an imposing fireplace that also functions as a wood stove. To the left of the living room is a spacious kitchen with direct access to the portico. A corridor connecting the kitchen and the living room leads to the sleeping area on the ground floor, which comprises a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with shower and a twin bedroom with joinable beds, also featuring an ensuite bathroom with shower. A terracotta staircase rising from the kitchen leads to the first floor, where a further double bedroom is found, complete with an ensuite bathroom with shower and a private panoramic balcony overlooking the surrounding hills and valleys.
Amenities Included
Le Macine is equipped with a comprehensive range of amenities designed to ensure a comfortable and convenient stay. Air conditioning is available in all 3 bedrooms as well as in the living room, providing a cool and pleasant environment during the warmer months. Distances and Attractions
Le Macine is ideally positioned between 2 of Tuscany's most celebrated landscapes: the Val d'Orcia, renowned for its iconic crete senesi, or Siennese clays, and home to culturally significant towns such as Pienza and Montalcino, and the Maremma, a vast and unspoilt region extending all the way to the Tyrrhenian Sea. The town of Castel del Piano is just a few kilometres from the property and is a member of the Associations of Wine and Oil Towns, a network of 11 municipalities in the province of Grosseto united by a shared commitment to quality viticulture and gastronomy. The network brings together hotels, farms, restaurants, wine bars, and quality wine cellars, offering guests an exceptional range of local experiences. Castel del Piano is also home to one of the region's most beloved annual events, the Palio of the Four Districts, which celebrates the devotion to the Madonna delle Grazie, a precious gold-background artwork attributed to the 14th-century Sienese painter Sano di Pietro. The Palio is held every year on September 8 and is preceded by a grand allegorical parade representing events that took place between 1330 and 1571, rooted in a legend deeply embedded in local tradition.

Description
Property Summary
Nestled on a hill 350 metres above sea level in the heart of Tuscany, Italy, Villa Amandula is an exceptional vacation rental that seamlessly blends contemporary design with the rich heritage of the surrounding landscape. The name Amandula derives from the ancient local jargon "màndula", meaning almond, a reference to the precious fruit that once dominated this territory and formed a cornerstone of the traditional peasant diet. Built in 2019 according to zero-impact construction principles, the villa celebrates local craftsmanship through the use of handmade terracotta, chestnut beams, and oak parquet, all set within modern, linear, and entirely white interiors where deliberately oversized windows allow natural light to flood every room, transforming it into a living element of the décor. Located within a working farm dedicated to the production of extra virgin olive oil, Amandula enjoys a private and tranquil position overlooking a breathtaking rural landscape of olive groves, vineyards, and dense woodland, with the silhouette of Monte Amiata, an ancient extinct volcano, defining the horizon between the provinces of Grosseto and Siena. The property offers complimentary Wi-Fi connectivity throughout, a generous private yard extending across 3,000 square metres of landscaped garden, a stunning outdoor swimming pool, and a dedicated uncovered parking area with space for 3 cars, all contributing to an experience of refined comfort and absolute serenity in one of Italy's most evocative natural settings.
Outdoors
The outdoor spaces of Villa Amandula are as thoughtfully designed as the interiors, offering a seamless connection between the built environment and the surrounding Tuscan countryside. The property sits within a sloping 2-hectare park planted with olive trees, oaks, almond trees, and wooded areas, enclosed by large-mesh pasture netting intended primarily to ensure privacy and limit access by unauthorised individuals. The 3,000 square metres of garden immediately surrounding the villa are laid to lawn and dotted with olive trees, lavender, and rosemary, creating a fragrant and visually harmonious setting throughout the seasons. A pergola at the entrance provides a shaded and elegantly equipped outdoor dining area, while a brick barbecue with a convenient integrated sink offers the perfect setting for al fresco cooking. A panoramic, north-facing portico furnished with armchairs and a sofa invites relaxation at any hour of the day, framing views across the valley towards Monte Amiata. The uncovered parking area, accommodating up to 3 vehicles, is located at the end of a gravel driveway, just 5 metres from the main entrance door beneath the pergola. The rectangular swimming pool, non-heated and fenced for safety, occupies a lower terrace approximately 30 metres from the villa and is accessible from the porch and the parking area by crossing the garden and descending stone slabs. Measuring 12 x 5 metres with a constant depth of 1.40 metres, the pool is finished in sand-coloured PVC with a porous terracotta border and is equipped with an angular Roman staircase, underwater illumination, and a solar shower. The surrounding sunbathing area, paved in terracotta and framed by a border of lawn and olive trees, is furnished with sunbeds, umbrellas, and tables. The pool is sanitised with chlorine and remains open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October, offering an unobstructed view of the Amiata profiles and the suggestive sunsets that unfold across the horizon.
Unit Layout
Villa Amandula is distributed across 2 levels connected by an internal staircase crafted in terracotta and masonry, and comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests across 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. On the ground floor, the entrance opens from the pergola into a large and luminous open-plan living space that brings together the living area, furnished with a smart TV and overlooking both the swimming pool and the Castello di Velona, the dining area, and a contemporary linear kitchen with direct access to the porch. The ground floor also features a double bedroom with a private exit to the garden and an adjacent bathroom with shower, both of which are fully certified to accommodate guests with disabilities. The first floor, reached via the internal staircase from the living room, houses 2 further double bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom with shower and an exclusive panoramic private terrace. One of these terraces overlooks the swimming pool, the olive grove, and the Val d'Orcia, while the other offers views over the charming village of Seggiano. One of the first-floor bedrooms features a wooden mezzanine level used as a dedicated relaxation area, adding an additional dimension of comfort and character to the accommodation.

Air conditioning is available in all 3 bedrooms, providing a welcome respite during the warmer months of the Tuscan summer. The kitchen is fully appointed with modern appliances including a dishwasher, making meal preparation and clean-up effortless after long days of exploration. A washing machine is also available within the property, offering practical convenience for longer stays. Guests can enjoy a wide selection of channels through the satellite TV, complementing the smart TV already present in the living area. Heating is available at the property, ensuring warmth and comfort during cooler periods.
