There is a tennis club within walking distance of the house. The helpful caretakers live on the estate, in a separate apartment.

The garden surrounding the property is delimited by a 2m high wall, which surrounds three sides of the villa. The Villa is also a great starting point for visiting all of Tuscany.
Florence is about 1 hour's drive away as are the 5terre. Lucca, with its ancient walls and medieval charm, is only a 20-minute drive from the house and in summer is particularly animated by its Lucca Summer Festival or in November by Lucca Comics. Pisa and its famous leaning tower are also very close.
