Dating back to the 12th century and restored in the 17th century by the noble family of Acciaioli, the Castle has a magnificent tower built on the model of the one of Palazzo Vecchio in Florence.
Montegufoni Castle is part of a large estate comprising vineyards and olive trees and is surrounded by the beautiful Chianti landscape. In the castle there are 39 apartments and a large garden with a nice swimming pool: the perfect spot to relax and have fun with your family and friends.

At guests’ disposal: large and very charming terraced park furnished with garden furniture and table tennis, beautiful Italian gardens (dating back to the 18th century) with lemon trees and swimming-pool (12 x 6 m - open from 01/04 to 31/10). Reception open from 9.00 to 12.30 and from 14.30 to 18.30. The outbuildings of the castle as well were restored and turned into charming apartments. The castle is run by the Posarelli family. The property consists of a main house and a guest house. The main entrance to the property leads through a shady courtyard and covered loggia to a large terrace enjoying wonderful views over the landscape. Part of the large garden is an olive grove and the swimming pool (12x6m) has been placed in a spectacular position. There is also an original bread oven which can be used for pizzas and barbecues too.
After arriving at Centolivi 14 you’ll find a nice clean well-maintained property with views of the hills ideal for a relaxing vacation in Tuscany.
