From the garden, a flight of stairs adjacent to the entrance gate leads down to the swimming pool, which is non-heated and dramatically positioned to overlook the city, offering a truly unique and memorable view. The pool is elliptical in shape, measuring 5x8 m with a depth of 1.20 m, and features an internal PVC coating in a vivid blue tone that contrasts beautifully with the light wood-coloured stoneware of the large surrounding solarium. Both the pool interior and the sunbathing area are equipped with lighting, allowing for enjoyable evenings outdoors. Comfortable sun loungers and deck chairs are arranged in the shade of a large sail, creating a relaxing atmosphere throughout the day. Access to the water is facilitated by a convenient metal ladder, and water purification is managed through a chlorine-based system. The pool area is enclosed by a laurel hedge and accessed through a dedicated gate, located approximately 40 m from the main building. The swimming pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.

Villa Desiderio is thoughtfully arranged across 2 floors connected by an internal staircase, and is designed to comfortably accommodate up to 9 guests across 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. On the ground floor, a large and brightly lit open-plan room serves as the heart of the villa, encompassing a dining area, a sitting area with a dedicated TV corner, and a relaxation zone that can also be configured as a work station if required. From the relaxation area, the space flows naturally into a fully equipped kitchen. Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom complete with an en suite bathroom featuring a shower. Regarding the tourism tax, children under 14 years of age are exempt from payment. The tax applies per person for the first 6 nights of the stay.

The structure in subdivided into 3 apartments, (there is no internal access between apartments) which come rented to one single party as a single rental villa. The largest apartment holds a dining room large enough for 8 guests to dine together.
The owners (who are very friendly but not intrusive) manage a family agricultural business from the same location and live a few meters away but do not share any of the outdoor areas with the guests – they do reserve access to a passage which runs below the largest apartment for use only when truly necessary. They will be available should guests require help or advice for what to visit and where to go to enjoy the best of Tuscany.
The property available for rent and the property where the owners live are separated by a border of flowers which gives the guests the most privacy possible.
