Villa Ghirlanda is a beautifully restored traditional Tuscan building, characterised by its distinctive stone façade, elegant interior arches, and warm cotto floors. The interiors have been tastefully furnished to create a welcoming and refined atmosphere throughout, with careful attention to both comfort and authentic Tuscan style. The property is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, and a pizza oven, adding both practicality and a touch of authentic Italian culinary tradition to the guest experience.
The rental includes Internet Wifi, bed and bathroom linen, pool towels, as well as a cot and high chair for families travelling with young children. A final cleaning service is required at the end of the stay. Heating is available upon consumption and is not compulsory; it is important to note that the heating system serves either the house or the swimming pool, but not both simultaneously. Electricity and air conditioning are metered separately. Pets are welcome upon prior request, subject to an additional weekly fee.
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total rental amount is required upon confirmation of the booking, with the final balance due no later than 60 days prior to arrival. The minimum stay is 1 week, and the changeover day is Saturday. Check-in is available from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and check-out must be completed before 10:00 am. A refundable security deposit of 900 euros is required upon arrival, payable in cash or by credit card, and will be returned at the end of the stay provided no damage has occurred.
Upon request, a range of additional services is available to enhance the guest experience, including a cooking service, cooking classes, a shopping service, and private transfers to the airport or other destinations.

The property can sleep up to eight people comfortably in three bedrooms with three bathrooms. Al Mennucci is located 3 km (2 mi) from Colle Di Compito, Italy and only 17 km (11 mi) from Lucca. If playing a round of golf is important while on holiday, you are in luck because there is a course nearby.
Your Experience
This house was originally an old hayloft which has recently been converted into a delightful cottage. It is located in a superb position, high in the hills, 15 km to the south-east of Lucca, and surrounded by olive groves and pine trees. There are fantastic views over the countryside and the plain of Montecatini in the distance.
Close to the pool area, there is a stone-built barbecue and pizza oven, an outdoor shower and an outdoor dining area. Near the driveway, about 20 metres from the house, there is small guesthouse with a double bedroom and bathroom. The secluded position and the fact that it is accessible by its private road ensure peace and tranquillity for the guests of Al Mennucci. This road lasts for 1 km and it is unsealed, therefore not suitable for low sport cars.
When you arrive you will be greeted by the owner or manager where you’ll find a beautiful clean well-maintained property with views of the hills ideal for a splendid holiday in Tuscany.
