New Review Submitted for Bibbiano located in Castellina In Chianti, Tuscany, Italy.

Rental Date: Saturday 22nd of August 2009.
Renter Rating: 5/5.
Review Details:
Fantastic holiday. Bibbiano exceeded our expectations. Great spot on its own in a secluded walled garden next to the main vineyard farm house with wonderful views. The directions were spot on and it took only 10 minutes from the Autostrada. Guilia in the vineyard office was there to welcome us, along with a couple of bottles of the house Chianti and helpful in every respect. No problem accessing the property with a normal car. The pool was huge with lots of shade. Italy does suffer from wasps at this time of the year. There are 2 friendly hounds at the property (we like very big dogs).

The house was generally very well equipped and the air conditioning in the 2 bedrooms a real blessing. Very spacious and characterful. Unfortunately it took 5 days for any of us to work out how the oven works. So we took to bbqing in the open ingelnook. A couple of the rooms were very dark at night. A few more lamps would have been appreciated. For a house with a great pool its a pity there were no plastic cups.

There was a DVD player and Sky, however no internet access.

The location was perfect for central Tuscany with a score of major attractions in very close proximity. Monteriggione was a real gem and only 10 minutes away. The supermarket (Coop) is also just 10 minutes away, however shopping in the local markets is also easy.

We drove down fom Milan which took 4 hours. Generally very good road, Autostrada all the way. Beware of the suicidal drivers !!

Overall close to perfect !! Trevor, Wiltshire

Alliso is a beautiful villa-large bright rooms delightfully furnished with lots of attention to detail. The situation of the villa is peaceful with no worries regarding the noise levels created by energetic children. It is however close to a very charming Italian town of Camaiore. I would certainly recommend it to anyone.

The perfect place to relax and enjoy the pool and the view or the perfect home base to see Lucca, Barga Torre del Lago and Florence and Pisa. The town of Castelnuovo de Garfagnana was a wonderful place top eat dinner and to stroll around the streets near the Fortress.

New Review Submitted for La Poggetta located in Cavriglia, Tuscany, Italy.

Rental Date: Saturday 15th of August 2009.
Renter Rating: 5/5.
Review Details:
We really enjoyed our stay at La Poggetta. The villa is beautifully finished inside and the modern working shower rooms and bathrooms were much appreciated. I think the villa would work well for two families or four couples. The garden is just lovely, beautiful views, plenty of shade or sun all day round and big enough to find some privacy if required. The pool is a good size too for the number of people staying and the tennis court proved to be a real bonus. Another plus point, not be over exaggerated in an area where the roads can be very slow and bendy, is the easy access from the villa to the A1 which is a fast motor way through the centre of Italy. There are loads of places of interest in the area and Florence and Siena are very easy to get to.

Lucy the local agent was enormously helpful and generous with her time.

I think our only criticism may be that the web site pictures do not really do the place justice but this is a small point.
