Our stay at Il Borghetto was fabulous! Our 2 bedroom apartment was spacious (plenty of room for our family of 4) and beautifully decorated in the Tuscan style. The property was equally beautiful with stunning views of the Tuscan landscape. The owners were very welcoming and gave us helpful advice about touring the area. The location was perfect for visiting Florence, Siena and the many hilltowns in the area. It was also nice to just relax and unwind at the beautiful pool! Our dinner at the villa was our best in Italy!

Beautiful villa and wonderful hosts. Better than the pictures. Great view of valley below and hill top church. Quiet, relaxing, wonderful large pool, extremely spacious and very well cared for. Only 5 min to Autostrada. Perfect for visits to Lucca, Pisa, and Firenze if you can drag yourself away from the pool!

We had a wonderful time at this property. Our accommodations were as expected - nothing too fancy but everything we needed. The area was great - the views spectacular. The check-in process was hassle-free and all of the people there were very friendly. The food at the restaurant was great. If we have one recommendation for improvement it is regarding the chlorination of the pool. It was a very clean and refreshing pool, however the water smelled very strongly of bleach (i.e. laundry bleach) rather than chlorine or bromine that might be used in a pool. Not a big deal - everything else was sublime!

Very nice apartment, well fitted out. Lovely views looking out across the valley and Dicomano. Good 16m swimming pool. Very relaxing surroundings. Train from Dicomano (5 mins by car, 25 min walk) will take you into Florence, about 50 mins, 3 euro each way pp.

We loved this villa and we had a wonderful week. The village of Montalcino is unbelievable ! The site is fantastic, the villa is clean, well decorated and very comfortable ! Everything was perfect ! The person who was in charge was very nice, the other one from the agency explained to us many things to do around, the owner was also nice with us.. We just want to go back as soon as possible !
