Casale Rosanna was spacious, with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable and clean! Our host was gracious and took the time to explain the features of the home. We truly felt like it was home away from home. The vista from the terrace was absolutely stunning. I spent one full day enjoying Casa Rosanna and the landscape around me - being able to see San Gimignano was liking viewing Camelot. It was the highlight of my month-long trip to Italy.

If you want to feel special then your hosts will not disappoint. Once you find the villa - it was a little tricky to find even with a GPS as it is situated in an isolated location- you are made to feel like the long lost relative; warm embraces and appetizers await your arrival. The property offers a pool on top of a hill overlooking vineyards and olive groves as far as the eye can see and although the grounds are tended to almost daily, your privacy is well respected and your every need, tended to. We had to make alternate arrangements for the following week which required changing our flights back to Canada and our host was wonderful enough to print all our boarding documents and bring them to us thus easing our anxiety. This is a place where you will rediscover every star of the galaxy (WOW) and find the tranquility to refresh the soul.

This is likely as close to a dream vacation as you could ask. Often times when you stay somewhere you've only read about or viewed pictures of, you are often disappointed; not so at Colonica. The property sits on the limits of a tiny town which offers shopping, grocery store and restaurants which satisfy any craving but best of all, it has the feel of living in that Tuscan countryside we all dream about. Who hasn't dreamed of sipping a cool refreshment by a pool and watching an uninterrupted and breathtaking sunset. THAT is Colonica in a nutshell. Would I go back; absolutely.
